“Sarah exhibits confidence and organization. She listens carefully and respectfully to me and I assume other clients. She has very good, up to date, ideas and will do her best to source products and services. She recommended a great contractor and followed up with them while we were away. Although there was an unforeseen issue with the construction, Sarah quickly dispatched a revision of the plans. However, the most professional quality Sarah exhibited was her timely response to my emails and phone calls. Did I mention her attention to detail...going out of her way to order the perfect knobs for a project she didn't even plan?”

“I contracted Howard at Coastal Maine Remodelers to renovate my kitchen. I found Howard to be very honest and direct. The estimate was all-inclusive and left nothing to surprise. He respectfully offered suggestions, yet met me where I was coming from and made sure that he was meeting my expectations throughout the project. He built new kitchen cabinets, replaced the doors and drawer fronts on existing cabinets and created amazing, original open shelving. All of the work was beautifully and professionally done. It is very apparent that Howard and his team take great pride in the quality of their work. The kitchen was cleaned every day and the renovation stayed right on schedule. I really appreciated Howard’s honesty and integrity throughout; his work and communication made me comfortable and confident in my decision to work with him. I am thrilled with my newly renovated kitchen and won’t hesitate to contact Coastal Maine Remodelers for my next project.”

“Lindy has consulted, contracted and performed the majority of home remodeling and repair projects at our home over the past ten years. He has also done many projects for friends. He is skilled, open to ideas and has great artistic eye. He is respectful of our space and of budgets, shares a great sense of humor and we have always felt safe having him here whether we are home or not. He loves pets and has helped our son with his first home DIY projects. I consider him a friend but a tremendous professional as well. He has hired a variety of assistants and specialists over the years who have worked well, but he maintained close control and did the majority of each project himself. We hope to continue to hire Lindy for future projects.”

“When I decided I wanted to redo our kitchen, I had a rather vague idea of what I wanted. It is a very small space, so difficult to work with. Donna just came through with great ideas, like moving the stove into a corner to better utilize space hard to get to, moving the pie safe out but using some nicely designed tin on cupboard doors to recreate the same feeling. She thought of these wonderfully rough granite counters that fit into an old house. The lighting is fantastic, nice bright lights over the work area, under cupboard lights for when you don't need a lot. I never felt pushed into anything I didn't want. Donna is an absolute gem, delightfully smart and easy to work with. I can't say enough about Donna and Dovetail Design: she went above and beyond. I have one photo with Donna and me in the kitchen. Linda”
