“Having taken almost a year to design my new kitchen I had to find someone who was willing to take on my ideas and bring them to life.Using locally sourced wood was not to other kitchen makers liking. Fortunately Old Oak are quite local to me which meant that I was able to call in to discuss details and see the whole project coming together. Bedwyn is a very competent craftsman and made everything to my (demanding) standards. The overall result is stunning!”

“Image Interiors did a wonderful job transforming my small, outdated bathroom into a stylish and functional space. They were able to maximise the limited square footage and create storage solutions that I never would have thought of on my own. The team is always available to answer questions and provide updates throughout the renovation process. “I've worked with Contour Kitchens on a number of projects and met both their staff and clients. The finished kitchens have all been designed and installed to the highest standard with clean finishes and attention to detail. I'm always intrigued to see the new design features and appliances that have been installed such as the Quooker tap or the Bora hob with integrated extractor fan. There is always a great rapport between the staff and clients when I've met everyone on site at the end stage of projects. Clients have commented on how smoothly projects have run and how helpful Contour Kitchens have been throughout the design and installation process. “Harts Woodworking designed, manufactured and installed our stunning kitchen. Andy immediately understood what we wanted and produced detailed drawings and costings. Andy and his team were incredibly easy to work with. They came on site at a time convenient to us and talked through every aspect of the works. No one was ever late for an appointment with us. Our budget was kept to. In order to try and keep a handle on costs, we ordered our appliances over the Internet. Harts were very accommodating and took delivery of all of the appliances at their workshops and then brought them on to site at the right stage of the works. During the installation our home was kept as clean and tidy as possible in the midst of installing a new kitchen! A real pride was taken in the work. The kitchen was left clean at the end of each day and no mess was made elsewhere in the house. The quality of finish is excellent. Almost 3 years on and there have been no issues with the kitchen at all. Save for my leaning on the bin drawer too heavily. And Andy came and sorted that out very quickly. Since then Harts have also designed and built 2 large built in oak book cases and a utility cupboard for us, all to the same high standard.”

“We employed this company to completely refit a bathroom. The work was quite complex and involved moving the bath and WC to different positions. There was also a considerable amount of ancillary work required. The work was all carried out by the proprietor of the company who worked very hard and continuously from start to finish. It was completed in just over two weeks. We were away on holiday for the first week and had no qualms about leaving the house whilst the work was going on as we had employed RPS before and found the owner to be completely trustworthy. Arrangements had been made some time previously for the work to start on a particular day and this is what happened. We are very pleased with the standard of workmanship and the overall outcome of the project.”

“Nigel Wilson of Auspicious Furniture designed and built my kitchen and also my en suite bathroom cupboards. From the outset Nigel contributed many excellent ideas, while always taking into account my own. He spent a long time in the flat talking the project through, paying great attention to the aesthetics of the job as well as the practicalities. I live in a converted, Grade II listed, woollen mill and we both wanted the work, while being modern and functional, to fit in with the character of the mill. There were also unusual technical problems to overcome in a converted industrial building and Nigel always came up with solutions with great flair and creativity. The quality of the work and materials was exceptionally high and the whole project extremely good value. I was so pleased with the result that I went back to Nigel a few months later to make cabinets and bookshelves for my bedroom and study and window shutters for the study and kitchen. He is a craftsman who cares.”

“Friendly, reliable and polite. They listened carefully to what we wanted and also suggested some ideas to improve the brief while not trying to sell or raise the cost. Nothing was too much trouble. They arrived on the date previously arranged and worked really hard with a smile on their faces . They were eager to please and were only satisfied with their work if it was of a very high standard and if it pleased us. They stuck to the budget and were not expensive. They exceeded our expectations to the extent that we have arranged for them to come back to carry out more work for us.”
