Im usually very indecisive but they were able to help me build my dream bedroom with so many choices and combinations they offer i was very happy with the result. All of them polite and clean and tidy The units, flooring and internal doors provided are all of a good quality. Kept to original budget. The only thing that dissappointed, was the timescale of works, I was without use of appliances longer than expected. “Jon came to our home and after looking at our existing kitchen he listened to our needs and wishes for a new kitchen, and then made some great suggestions from his expertise. Jon drew up comprehensive plans according to our budget and then showed us many ranges of cupboards, drawers, sinks etc...to choose from. “We went along to Kitchen Matters and were impressed by the showroom and quality of the units and appliances. We returned some weeks later and spoke to Amol who immediately grasped what we were trying to achieve in terms of shape and style. Indeed, Amol brought a fresh perspective that ultimately concluded in us having a different layout to what we had originally envisaged and with which we are highly delighted. Amol conducted the matter with almost military precision from the start. No detail was too small and nothing was left to chance. Every trade worked in tanem with Amol and each other and the operation which lasted circa three weeks was as seamless and as stress free as it could be. “We commissioned a bespoke kitchen and, from inception to completion of the project, the service, quality and expertise were exemplary. Phil's input and suggestions in designing the final layout and unit combination were massively helpful. He was also able to source exactly the unusual granite worktops I had in mind. The company offer the extremely useful facility to view the units as a work in progress at their factory so that changes, if required, can be made prior to installation. Another massive advantage is that, if the building work is delayed the units can be stored at their premises so there's no pressure on the customer in terms of taking delivery. The hand painted finish is to an exceptionally high quality and any snagging requirements are dealt with quickly and without fuss. When the kitchen was finally installed we discovered that we had been given an additional floor unit as a 'gift' as Phil thought the base unit run on one of the walls would look incomplete without it. He was absolutely right and I can't imagine many companies who would provide that level of personal detail. We were so delighted with the kitchen that, in addition, we commissioned a bathroom vanity unit and will doubtless have other pieces made. I am truly more than happy to recommend Grand Union Designs.”

“I had 3 quotes of which Discover Kitchens was the highest. (Not by a huge amount). I chose to use them because the quality of the products was of the highest quality. I also felt the service from Simon was excellent and at no point did I feel we were getting the "hard sell" treatment. The other 2 companies were miles away in terms of seeming to genuinely care and the products felt substandard in comparison. When deciding who to go with it was important to have a contract with someone we felt could be trusted. I would not hesitate to recommend Simon. Yes he might be more expensive but, the quality and service are well worth that bit more to get peace that you will be well looked after.”
