I work with this company regularly, as they produce quality work, on schedule and budget. They cope with the many unusual pieces i ask of them. The owner James is creatively minded and very hands on. This cabinet was finished in gloss lacquer, and posed some tricky door assembly requirements. The client was delighted with the results.

Fantastic bespoke shelving unit designed and fitted by Jamie. Lovely finishing touches and he took extra time to stain and polish so that it matched the antique bureau in the room. It's a stunning piece of craftsmanship that I can't stop looking at.

Our experience with Raison Home have been incredible! We didn't know what to expect really as we were trying them out for the first time to supply a small project, having had Charmaine Ulyate's expert assistance in previous projects. We were quite blown away at the level of attention to detail and genuine emphasis in working with their clients, and thus our client, through relationship building. A designers dream - to know their clients are in good hands, with fantastic products and a team that will deliver the level of professionalism they've come to know with you. We are already discussing our next project together and foresee a long term relationship. Thank you.

Great Bathroom result! Knocked two small bathrooms into one large family bathroom and it made a huge difference to the house. Chris and his team worked professionally and quickly and the end result is a lovely space to be in - looks like a boutique hotel! Great customer service, nothing is too much bother for him, and he is fastidiously tidy - no mess at any stage of the job. I can't recommend him enough.

We approached Eternal Kitchens with a view to wanting a new kitchen moved downstairs from its prior position. They arranged everything - electrics/plastering/moving of radiators and designed, built and installed a new kitchen. Not to mention removing the old kitchen and dealing with the residual mess! All of which was done on time and on budget. Very impressed with the high quality of their work. We love the kitchen - it is glorious.

I contacted Thomas Matthew as a friend recommended them to me, I recently moved house and was limited for space, thankfully this is no longer an issue due to their clever designs. Everybody who sees my new made to measure wardrobes, wants to know where I got them from! They designed a beautiful pair with sliding doors with a high quality finish. I absolutely love my new shoe storage design that Matthew managed to incorporate into the wardrobe. Will definitely be using again & recommending to family & friends. It was an absolute pleasure doing business with you both.

I am delighted with Shaker & May who seem to get better and better. They supplied my kitchens for a refurbishment project in Somerset and the outcome was pure satisfaction, on my part. Attention to detail, willingness to adapt and alter and the standard of the finished product exemplary. Please accept my thanks and appreciation. First class. JB
Making Wood Work

Julian is a dedicated and sincere craftsman of wood and, dare I say it, a perfectionist too. I came to know Julian and his family when my wife and I moved to Somerset in 2006 and wanted to restore and develop the interior of our part of a traditional Somerset double-gabled house dating from 1802. Julian revealed to us beams of ancient elm that had been buried under plaster by subsequent unappreciative generations and then created anew items made from fallen elm to echo the traditional wood used in this area. Items include, for our bathroom, an eliptical elm surface on which a sink sits, for my study a curved desk of elm (which is a joy to sit at). Also for my study, floor to ceiling shelves, with small LED lights that emerge from the wood as if modern candles. He created a special in-built lectern to display some artworks in book-form with two pages to view. Downstairs he created our kitchen, matching stone surfaces to specially chosen wood and restoring an enormous welsh dresser, making drawers accessible with modern movement while retaining the age old beauty of the original piece. At our office in Hampton Court, in homage to the famous Japanese American wood craftsman, George Nakashima 1905-1990, he created our boardroom table. This was from a fallen elm opened longitudinally, revealing the imperfections of time, and allowing the natural curve of the outer shape of the original tree to be part of the work, running a millimeter layer of maple down the middle of the table. Here he also created unique desks of oak and elm to echo, in a totally modern way via the choice of wood, our building which dates from the early 17th century. Here he also constructed for our bespoke needs two long rows of lectern style shelves needed for our contract folders - functional and yet in keeping with our building. His works never lose sight of functionality but are works of art in themselves to be appreciated. We know at our office from the reaction of our many customers who visit us from all over the world how people react to Julian's work and it is always with awe and interest. The works we have done with Julian started in 2006 and have continued to the present.

Walrow kitchen designed and supplied our kitchen. Jackie was fantastic helping me decide on lots of different choice's available. We went for a walnut high gloss touch open kitchen and composite worktops. We are delighted with our new kitchen and would definitely recommend Walrow kitchens as nothing was too much trouble for them. They will make any cabinet in any size so you can have the perfect kitchen unlike the big chain kitchen manufacturers.

I was renovating an old cottage and needed a whole new kitchen. I knew exactly what I wanted from my previous house. I found Paul from Copperfield Kitchens from the internet, and as he was local ,had good reviews and seemed a pleasant chap, gave him the job. I explained what I wanted, and to the small details Paul listened , drew up the plans that we discussed and refined, and delivered me a stunning kitchen that to this day I love, and still has the wow factor. It was exactly what I wanted and built to a high standard and quality that will last for ever. I would therefore highly recommend Copperfield Kitchens and would use them every time for similar work should it ever arise in future.
