Cheverell

We recently moved into the area and wanted to get rid of our old our MDF fitted wardrobes in our small main bedroom. Space was paramount. Cheverell's were recommended by a friend. Robbie and his team worked with us and designed and delivered exactly what we wanted. They utilised all the space, even matching our internal barn style doors. They are quite expensive in comparison to other companies, but its all bespoke and we would recommended them, if you want good old fashioned service with smile. It will be our small kitchen next, once we have saved up.

When we moved to the area, many new friends recommended Cheverell to us, as they had used them and had been very impressed with the quality of workmanship. The process was extremely easy, the customer service excellent and when problems do arise (which is inevitable really!) they were always resolved quickly and to our satisfaction. After completing our kitchen we have since had Cheverell back to do our Utility and Bedroom wardrobes all of which we are thrilled with. Can't recommend enough.

As Interior Designers, we have recently completed another London project with Cheverell, and we have yet another thrilled client. Over the years, they have proven time and again that they deliver excellent quality and customer service, and the detailing and finish of their work is faultless. We are currently working together on a new kitchen for a seaside holiday home, with work due to start later this month, and we cannot wait to see the results. The team at Cheverell have done numerous site and office meetings to discuss the project in detail, and are steering us all seamlessly through this ambitious project. We will continue to take our clients to them, knowing that they couldn't be in safer hands.

Whilst the standard of the joinery is good, their client interface needs work. They did not reply to emails or phone calls promptly, sometimes for more than a fortnight. Their estimates sometimes left items out, the design of some shelving omitted sufficient supports underneath to bear the weight required and when I pointed this out I was charged extra to add them in. Their installer damaged my walls installing a bath panel, covered it up with a piece of furniture and left without telling me. They had a very long lead time (months), were unable to tell me an installation date for many weeks, and when, finally, the installation was a week away I was unilaterally informed the date had to be put back to even later.

As Interior Designers, we have worked very closely with Robbie Howard and the Cheverell team on a number of projects ranging from London to Cornwall. We have always found them to be efficient, knowledgeable and professional to deal with. Robbie goes the extra mile to ensure that he has understood what we are aiming for and suggesting clever details to elevate the designs into something really special. We would not hesitate to recommend Cheverell and look forward to continuing our working relationship for many years to come.

We used Cheverell many years ago and can say that our recent experience was just as good. Planning and preparation is first class. The skill level of their craftsman is at the highest level. We are very pleased with the end result and would have no hesitation in using them again.

I stumbled upon Cheverell by chance and was welcomed immediately by Robbie. A very professional design and installation service ensued. He took on board my preferences and offered excellent advice on the design . The project came in at the price quoted and everything ran very smoothly. I allowed a long lead-time for building the new kitchen in a house which was being seriously knocked about. Robbie and his colleagues were always available to talk to and were very flexible regarding installation etc.

Our working relationship started by us dropping in to Cheverell’s show room in Devizes. It is there we met our designer, Robbie Howard, and Robbie navigated a husband and wife disparate needs with skill & diplomacy. Over a period of couple of months the designs were made and the drawings provided an excellent level of detail that nothing slipped and the other trades needed had a clear plan where to install. Then Cheverell's installation team arrived, their skills were clearly evident, and reassuring, and all of them were a pleasure to have around. The hand painting team skills need a particular highlight. All the tweaks you want as a purchaser were all dealt with in a pleasing manner. Well done and thanks Team Cheverell. Neil, Robbie and his team at Chevrell Wood are completely brilliant. They designed and installed our beautiful kitchen in 2010 and then also designed and installed a boot room for us in 2016. They had great ideas and both rooms are gorgeous - stylish and practical at the same time - and admires whenever anyone comes round! But what stands out about Chevrell Wood is the after care you get. A leaky tap, a broken cupboard door (not their fault, my son swung on it) they come out at the drop of a hat to repair it without question. I thoroughly recommend the company to anyone thinking of doing their kitchen etc and will definitely be using them again

Robbie and the team at Cheverell did an amazing job. They were so helpful with the design and the finished product looks stunning. You have had so many compliments on my kitchen and still absolutely love it myself. Having got a lot of quotes they were also very reasonable for such a high end finish. I cannot rate them highly enough.

I have known Cheverell for some ten years since they first designed, built and fitted a large Kitchen for me in Wandsworth, London, and then some seven years later another Kitchen in Wiltshire. Each one has been perfect. A joy to cook in and spend family time and, in addition, elegant and stylish enough to have friends share for entertaining. The kitchens have both remained in fabulous order, given family life and, if over the years, there has been a problem Cheverell have been so helpful in rectifying the issue. Indeed only recently did my Neff large fridge hinges create a door which would not close properly and without a grumble Cheverell replaced them. I would recommend them without hesitation. Neil Straker is an excellent designer, his team are always helpful, friendly and available and finally his fitters are really great. What more could you wish for.

I can't recommend Cheverell highly enough. We instructed them to design our kitchen and in turn all the joinery for our 5 bedroom house - including wardrobes, vanity units, AV units, bookcases and bespoke storage solutions. The design was interpreted to our brief and incorporated some clever suggestions from the team. The workmanship was exemplary and everything was completed on time and as agreed. I cant wait to use them on our next project!
