Welcome to Chris Chapman Ltd. We specialise in creating individually hand-crafted kitchens and bespoke furniture. With each kitchen, our team guides you from inception to completion while making sure the design uniquely fits it's owner. We value craftsmanship and excellent service, which are the driving forces of Chris Chapman Ltd. Our furniture is hand-made in our workshop in Dorset. Each piece is created with attention to detail and individually tailored per client. From console tables to fully fitted bedrooms, we are able to accommodate jobs of any scale. We take pride in providing unique pieces that meet exact specifications while still maintaining functionality. Chris Chapman Ltd. is headed by Chris Chapman. Chris is a Chartered Builder (MCIOB), and 2011 Gold Medal winner of the Site Management Awards, awarded by the Chartered Institute of Building. Chris was a joy to work with throughout the process, and his knowledge, experience and common sense approach really helped us in all aspects of planning our new kitchen, from design to appliance choice, and colours and finishes. The workmanship and attention to detail on the finished product are of the highest quality, and, as well as looking fantastic, the kitchen is really functional and easy to use due to a number of suggestions in layout and appliance location that we wouldn't have thought of without Chris' input. Following his initial site visit and prompt return of design ideas and costings, we instantly felt that Chris would be the right man to run with our complete farmhouse kitchen extension / renovation project. Chris has transformed my kitchen and built fabulous storage and furniture for my conservatory. From start to finish the project management and communication has been exceptional. Chris has built two kitchens for our holiday lets and the results are fantastic. Chris spent time to really understand what we were looking for and needed and made it work for our budget. He was also happy to work with reclaimed materials to create something that is genuinely bespoke and not an off-the-peg, one-size-fits-all Howden's type kitchen. If you're looking for a DeVOL, or Plain English style and quality product, but want to work directly with the craftsman who will make your kitchen and also not pay-through-the-nose, then Chris is the man. Have a look at the projects he's got listed on line and I also I highly recommend visiting him in his workshop. You won't be disappointed.

From the outset of dealing with Chris he has been totally professional and upfront in all matters. He visited our home to carry out a survey of our original kitchen, meticulously taking measurements. Within a few days he provided us with a comprehensive quote and design listing all items that would be invoiced. . He produced a selection of good quality 3D CAD drawings showing the design of the kitchen. Throughout the process Chris was in regular contact, giving us progress updates, (bearing in mind we were dealing with the Corona 19 virus at the time ). We visited the workshop to view our cabinets and to agree on the paint colours that we had chosen. Prior to the installation we had our electrical and plumbing works installed by a contractor recommended by Chris, and he project managed this for us whilst we were away. During the installation Chris and his fitters arrived on time cleaning up as they went along and were very professional in their workmanship and eye for detail and all with a very pleasant manner. We are extremely happy with the final outcome of our lovely bespoke kitchen, and would have no hesitation in recommending Chris Chapman to others, it was a pleasure doing business with him.

Chris runs a fantastic operation. He is extremely professional and makes everything easy from the beginning. His bathroom design was excellent but the final version was even better. We gave him full discretion to alter some of the details, all of which enhanced the bathroom. What particularly impresses is the attention to detail - touches like adjusting the position of the shower head and taps so we wouldn't get wet when turning them on - and the perfect finish. The great thing, too, is that he leaves everything in a great state at the end. There are few builders who you can happily leave to just get on with a job unsupervised. Chris is a very rare breed. I could not recommend him highly enough.

I️ could not recommend Chris highly enough. He has transformed our experience of builders and building work. We’ve now had two bespoke kitchens designed, fitted and perfected by Chris and his small team (as well as some other unrelated work). It was a pleasant experience from the start. His showroom is a (dangerous) delight to look round but his real skill lies in his ability to transform conventional, or - as in the case of our London home - awkward spaces alike into perfectly formed, practical and aesthetically pleasing kitchens. Importantly, the final kitchen will, if anything, be better than the CAD design that he will first show you. The reason for this is simple: Chris is a perfectionist who will make sure that the work is finished to the highest standard, without a milimetre of wasted space. There will be many ‘Chris’ touches revealing his experience and careful consideration of how the kitchen will be used. It’s also (almost) pleasant to have him and his team in the house (he’s good company)! His design, and finish, of our London kitchen has left us with a room that feels bigger, looks fantastic and is a pleasure to be in. If you want to guarantee a brilliant kitchen (or any building work that you want him to do for that matter) instruct Chris.

Not only did he come up with fantastic ideas to solve the problems posed by the space, but he communicated well throughout the project and completed the workmanship to a very high standard. Project was conversion of two storey commercial store, in poor condition, into a 2 storey dwelling. (Grade II listed) All work was carried out in very professional manner, great attention paid to detail and use of correct materials. Workforce were craftsmen, skilled in working on old buildings. All waste materials were removed promptly and the site maintained in an orderly fashion. Quotation for the work was not the dearest, was very detailed, and warned of possible areas where additional costs might be incurred. Some additional costs and time were incurred due to problems revealed as work progressed, and wet weather delayed external work, (roof, walls & windows). We have now been resident for 19 months, and the only problem has been one external light fitting which failed. This was promptly renewed. I recommend this company 100%

I have used Chris Chapman several times. He is the only builder I would use! The last project was a complete overhaul of the downstairs of my house including a new hand cast concrete kitchen, re wiring, extensive building works, all the trades were needed and used. Chris has an excellent team and is always on time and budget. I can't say that for many builders!! And the quality and precision of the work is in the highest order.

Great Bathroom result! Knocked two small bathrooms into one large family bathroom and it made a huge difference to the house. Chris and his team worked professionally and quickly and the end result is a lovely space to be in - looks like a boutique hotel! Great customer service, nothing is too much bother for him, and he is fastidiously tidy - no mess at any stage of the job. I can't recommend him enough.

Commented: Smooth decking for UK?In our opinion, the only smooth wood to use in this country is Cedar as it is naturally mould and algae resistant with no need to treat.
