Clover Kitchens

Our kitchen is known in our family as 'the kitchen of dreams'. We have combined the sleek and modern handleless look of the kitchen with classic pieces in an open plan living/ dining space. It works really well. The Eggersmann kitchen cabinets are really well made and are streets ahead of the other brands that we looked at. Once we had seen the Eggersmann there was no going back and we are thrilled with our choice. The cupboards are taller than a lot of the other kitchen cabinetry that we looked at so we get so much more storage for our money. We love absolutely everything about the kitchen from the full height larder cupboard (that even hides our microwave) to the deep and sturdy drawers that are perfect for storing pots and pans. The work surface is beautiful. Clover Kitchens really took all of the stress out of our kitchen redesign. Their experience was exemplary. They had great ideas and I cannot recommend this company highly enough.

We first went to Clover Kitchens in the first half of 2015 to talk about an upcoming project and to have a look at the Next 125 range. We found all the staff to be knowledgeable and very accommodating. Once we had the architect plans drawn up Matt got to work producing the plans, he had many good ideas and went about things in a very logically and planned manner. He also made some very good recommendations in terms of the Bora hob which we would now not want to be without. Nothing was too much bother for Matt & Elaine as we would regularly pop in to the store to look at different style doors or work tops, up to the point we ordered. Matt attended the site on a couple of occasions to ensure that the kitchen design would still work and fit based on a couple of build issues with the renovation. Simple and effective solutions were found to build around the steel beams. Once half the kitchen was in Matt again came around with the worktop samples so we could select that based where it would live rather than what it looked like in a show room. I also have to mention the installer they used Bill Whitfield, he is a credit to Clover. He really took his time to ensure everything was installed to his extremely high standards. Almost 2 years on since the kitchen went in and it still looks as good today as it did the day it went in. I have no hesitations in recommending Clover Kitchens for your new kitchen, you will get great local service, you will not get Wren doing home visits to ensure everything is there and will fit. You will also get the kitchen you want not that a design system says you should have, the ability to personalise it and make small changes goes to show the great relationships and knowledge they have of the products they sell. The service we received was exceptional from the design, planning and fitting stages. Matt in particular was very knowledgable and helped us through the whole process. We are absolutely delighted with our very contemporary fitted kitchen and the “whow” received from family and friends endorses this.

The Clover team designed, supplied and installed our kitchen, including a separate utility room. They were effective listeners and responded to our requirements of the space as a family of 5 and our budget, plus they were very practical and professional to deal with. In particular they communicated comfortably and efficiently with our project manager, builders and electricians on technical matters, including non-standard requirements such as construction of underfloor ducting for steam extraction. Overall they ensured that each stage of the preparation, kitchen fitting and follow-up advice to us, came together at the right time within a schedule of several months renovation and extension work on our home.

Clover designed and fully fitted our kitchen and utility room, the style was contemporary with functionality. We needed a company who understood the style of our house and our needs as a family, small things like a Landry shoot from inside one of the units leading to our utility room in the basement, innovation's such as the Quooker hot tap and the Bora hob with build in extraction, we love it.. Any changes or amendments to the design was never an issue, site visits was regular and Bill the fitter is a perfectionist. I have no hesitation in recommending the services of Matt, Elaine and Bill from Clover Kitchens - great Job ! Thank you Danny, Julie and the boys.

I first had contact with Matt at Clover Kitchens on a popular money saving website. He was/is quite active there. What struck me was his knowledge of the different quality kitchens available in the U.K.. He would offer help to strangers without any form of sales pitch. I was looking for a German kitchen install, and after initially visiting his company in St. Albans he in turn visited my home to help plan my kitchen. His company sells quality products to suit many budgets. The whole process from ordering to delivery was very straightforward. I needed to delay delivery/install, and Matt accommodated this without fuss. Any questions I had, and there many, were answered in a timely fashion. The supply and fit of the kitchen went smoothly and the fitter supplied did a fantastic job. If I ever need a new kitchen installed again, Clover Kitchens will be my preferred choice. To sum up my experience of Clover Kitchens with Matt at the helm. What you get is both a professional and friendly experience.

Having been recommended to us by a friend, we really cannot praise Clover Kitchens enough. The design Matt gave us for our "tiny kitchen" suits us down to the ground. His advice to have drawers and not base cupboards has proved invaluable. The fitter Bill went to great lengths to ensure the finish was as near perfect as possible.

Having obtained a quotation from Wickes and Wren, whilst not the cheapest, we choose Clover Kitchens due to the advice and design suggested as well as the individuality of the kitchen we purchased (We went for the Sandal Oak). We also wanted to ensure we had a good quality builder and fitter, recommended by Matt. Both the builders and the fitter were excellent making a really good job of the work including gutting the old kitchen, rewiring, plumbing and tiling of the floor to the final fitting of the cupboards and appliances. The kitchen looks fabulous, with everyone who has visited us since, remarking how good it looks. I hope this kitchen lasts many many years, so I am unlikely to be purchasing another one from Clover any time soon, but would use again if we were.

Cannot speak too highly of Matt and his team who were professional in every way. I had great confidence in them from beginning to end. I particularly liked the way Matt actually listened to what I was saying on our first site meeting, which must have seemed a bit of a jumble as I wasn’t really sure what I wanted at that stage. As a result of this I was more open to new ideas and suggestions that I would normally have rejected out of hand, e.g. after using gas for cooking all my life I changed to electric and absolutely love it! Deadlines were kept to and the cost was within budget. I can honestly say that I did not feel stressed at any stage during the installation because everything happened when it was meant to and all work was done to an extremely high and competent level. It is a daily pleasure when each morning I come down to my lovely new kitchen and feel really pleased that I followed my gut instinct from that first meeting with Matt and subsequently his project manager, Frank.

We cannot praise Matt & his team highly enough. Before we met them, through Miele, we had plans drawn up by several other designers. but none felt quite right. Andy Davies in contrast came up with a most brilliant design, which fits our needs like a favourite jumper now it is installed. Really high quality products and a desire on their part that everything should be done just right. Most importantly they held exactly to the original quote, as we made no changes along the way. A pleasure to work with at every stage of the project. If you need a new kitchen you really must see Clover to find out what they could do for you.

Matt courteously and patiently explained up-front everything involved with the project and provided me with fantastic CAD imagery, which turned out to be spot-on! I chose my favoured design and Matt talked me through the various options to suit my budget. Matt & Elaine worked closely with me throughout the project from design to full installation and ensured that everything, down to the tiniest detail, was just perfect.
