We got Julie and team involved very early in our renovation plans which was SO helpful in determining some big decisions. The kitchen and boot room she designed and made for us are incredibly beautify spaces - we've seen some impressive houses in our time but our kitchen really is the most amazing space. Cabinetry is first class - what you'd expect from bespoke and hand-made. Attention to detail was exceptional. Wouldn't hesitate to use Coppice Guild again.

I had the huge pleasure of working with Julie on a very stressful listed building renovation. We were converting two bedrooms in the basement into what I hoped would be a kitchen dining area. Whereas other kitchen designers wouldn't give me the time of day until I had planning permission (which I had to submit a kitchen design to get!) Julie was incredibly helpful from the outset, helping me to visualise how the space could work and bearing with me while I came to terms with the need to use the bigger space at the front of the house (instead of trying to cram the kitchen into the back room so we could have a bigger table). She was of course totally right and got the balance between listening to what I was trying to achieve and using her experience and expertise to guide me into creating a beautiful kitchen that I absolutely love. It's our favourite part of the house and I love finally being able to cook dinner surrounded by my family doing homework or the kids practising piano or doing arts and crafts - instead of being stuck in the kitchen by myself. As well a being beautiful, it's also incredibly practical. The built in fridge-freezer (on the right of the aga) fits everything we need, there are recycling bins under the sink and a full size dishwasher. The pantry on the left of the Aga takes a full shop and the bespoke bakeware cupboard is deceptively spacious. I also love the modern touches like the Quooker tap which gives you instantly boiling hot water (but is family friendly as there's a 'knack' to operating it). On a personal level, Julie was friendly, calming and incredibly proactive to work with. When she came out to review the handpainted kitchen cupboards, she decided they needed another coat and got her team to come out and do it again, even though it looked fine to me. I can't recommend her enough and would use her again in a heartbeat.

Julie was brilliant with helping us design our boot room incorporating a special dog shower. She helped channel our ideas to get the most of the space available. She's very professional and even stepped in to help when we had a last minute problem on site. Would thoroughly recommend her as a designer.

Antonia Macgregor Designs in Glass
Meeting Julie has been much fun and inspiration. As a glass designer, I approached her company last year with the idea of collaborating on projects in which etched designs in glass may be incorporated. From the start, I admired her clear business approach, obvious creativity and ability to think outside the box, and at the same time so warm and approachable. We have recently developed designs for a glass screen which creates privacy for a large bedroom window, and also a large panel in a living room window to beautify the view towards the street. Her input is invaluable and I look forward to working together again. The showroom in Bradford on Avon is well worth the visit to see the quality of her kitchen design.

Julie has been completely delightful to work with from start to finish. We presented an unusual challenge with our dated, dingy and non-functional 'utility room' which is next to our kitchen. We knew a lot of the elements we wanted to incorporate into the new space, but Julie had the vision to make it happen. She was an excellent listener and has beautiful taste. We are now proud occupants of an attractive and practical Butler's Pantry and Laundry Room, which I call my 'Life Room' as I spend so much of my life out there!

Julie is a very accomplished and experienced designer with great ideas. A really good experience. Julie really listened to our remit and came up with suggestions I had not thought about or considered. Well planned Stylish uncluttered finish, great use of space. Did not follow advice on a particular suggestion but now wish I had. Would highly recommend for any size kitchen and listen to a very highly experienced designer with excellent back up from the great people she works with.

Julie is a great designer. Refreshingly, she will challenge preconceptions and expresses her view persuasively. We are so pleased we listened to her. She stopped us making some serious mistakes with our kitchen. We are delighted with the design Julie came up with for us and our kitchen gives us pleasure every day. Her depth of experience means that Julie finds the perfect solution to design challenges.

Trudy Montgomery Fine Art
Julie recommended one of my paintings for one of her kitchen clients and she was spot-on with her choice in terms of size, colour and overall feel to complement the beautiful contemporary kitchen she was installing for them. Having met her (very) happy clients (who purchased my painting), I can say first hand that Julie has a great eye for design and quality and leads a first class team of skilled craftsmen.

We are considering minor alterations in our kitchen to address some issues. Julie has given sound advice on both the cupboard space and appliances that would fit in the available space. We thought the showroom impressive as it demonstrates a range of designs and storage options - all helpful in making a decision. We have not yet decided the way forward but do now understand the possibilities.

Commented: UtilityI'm afraid that I do not have access to the exact colour but looking at my charts the nearest I can find is Little Greene's Boxington - it is effective isn't it?
