We had two internal Crittall Style internal doors with reeded glass fitted and I have to say that the team were great and the product is too. I've worked as an architect for almost 30 years and was quite taken aback at having fitters who were reviewing the best position of the doors, were friendly, completely finished everything around the openings and cleaned up. I've worked with some great trades before but never felt the urge to write to say such a heartfelt thankyou.

Great Company. They are easy to deal with and have a lovely showroom. Office Staff are good at keeping you up to date with progress on site and fitters are all clean and tidy.

After selecting Origin Bifold Doors i was introduced to this company by the Origin website as my local supplier. The doors were fitted in 2017 and all seemed good until the weather turned colder and I started getting condensation on the inside of the threshold and I noticed that the foam gaskets had shrunk. I called Ekco who replaced the gaskets under warranty and said that would cure the condensation problem. Unfortunately it didn't and the gaskets continue to shrink and have had to be replaced almost annually. I've had several different excuses for the condensation but in an effort to cure the problem the doors were removed and refitted in February this year which we hoped had done the trick but again as the weather turned the condensation came back, the foam had shrunk and I also noticed a gap between the threshold and the side wall had opened up and water was pooling on the outside of the threshold. This suggests to me that something has sunk so I again contacted Ekco who responded by saying as the doors had been refitted there was nothing else they could do and I've had too many visits so they would only come back if I paid a £250 fee. They were happy to order new foam under warranty but I either have to fit it myself, pay someone else or pay them £250. They now also say that the condensation could be caused by the construction methods of the extension and the foam shrinkage could be within tolerance. So if the extension is not suitable for the doors why was this not found on the initial survey or the initial fitment or even the second fitment? And why does the foam gasket manufacturer state that the foam will only shrink if it is incorrectly fitted or overstretched? I will not be paying these jokers a single penny more. The number of visits is down to the poor fitting and has been an ongoing issue from the start. I've requested a copy of the fitting warranty twice but been ignored both times and it is not available on the website, nor are they members of any trade association so you are basically at their mercy. Do yourself a favour and stay well away from this company, they may be fine when things are going well and they will happily take your money but when things go wrong they don't want to know (unless it can be fixed with a couple of cans of expanding foam and some silicone).

This review is long overdue. We purchased bifold doors from EKCO for the back of our house a few years ago, and at the time of purchase we were impressed with them. They gave us fantastic service and provided a high quality product,.....however this is only half of the story! This review praises their after sales support as much as anything. A few years down the line we had an issue with our product, we contacted EKCO hoping that the follow up support would be as good as the sales support. We received a prompt response and Craig and his colleagues at EKCO reacted positively helping us resolve our issue. We'd recommend them to anyone thinking of purchasing bifold doors - not just for the service but for their aftercare support and professionalism.

We have just had bi-folding doors fitted to our new extension and I can’t recommend Ekco highly enough. The level of service was excellent. All the team were professional and friendly. The fitters arrived when they said and did a fantastic job fitting the doors, everything was very straightforward and absolutely no hassle. We looked at lots of doors before deciding on Ekco and we have no regrets. Thank you to Michelle, Craig and Garry.

We commissioned EKCO to design and install two complete fully tiled bathrooms plus new open plan kitchen /dining room and replace all flooring throughout the downstairs rooms. Confidence was high so we disappeared on holiday for three weeks . On our return we could not have been more delighted - everything was as planned . In addition they arranged for planning permission as two walls were taken out to accommodate the open plan look and feel we wanted. It was really worthwhile upgrading the kitchen work tops to Dekton - looks amazing . From initial contact to completion EKCO and the whole team excellent . The project management was first class and professional advice just what we wanted. They are a brilliantly talented team.

We ordered bi fold doors from ekco. They provided a great service, responding to changes, and then ensured on time delivery and very high quality installation. Good price and great service.

I chose EKCO to refurbish our main bathroom after visiting various bathroom showrooms and obtaining two quotations. I felt immediately that I could work with the designer, Holly, and she was most professional and patient as I chose tiles, sanitary wear and tweaked the design more than once! The site was surveyed and all questions and queries answered, and the stripping and fitting process explained in great depth. The project ran pretty much to schedule and all snagging issues dealt with professionally which took away any worries we might have had. I would definitely use EKCO again in the future.

I used Ekco 3 years ago to fit our new kitchen. Having working with architects for many years I was so impressed with their attention to detail, timings and costs. The contract ran like clockwork and what a difference they made to the kitchen which has been much admired by family and friends. We used them again 2 years ago to update the shower room and the same applied. I would recommend them without hesitation for a hassle free quality contract.

Having had our Kitchen refitted by EKCO and been delighted with the results we had no hesitation in having EKCO back to refit our cloakroom. The whole process was very easy and straightforward - from the initial visit to assess the job, the design and subsequent design discussion through to the actual fitting. EKCO are able to attend to all aspects of the refit including the flooring, re-plastering of the ceiling and any electrical fittings so the relevant contractors are available when they are needed, which makes the whole process extremely smooth and timely. EKCO has access to a wide range of quality sanitary ware, furniture and fittings which means they can price jobs to suit a range of budgets. All the EKCO contractors and fitters we have had dealings with have been extremely professional and friendly - they work to a very high standard. We have recommended EKCO to our friends and neighbours and would have no hesitation in having them back to refit our en-suite and bathroom when the time comes.
