My experience of working with Gary at Ekos was great, Gary is friendly, punctual and has great knowledge of his craft. My clients were very happy with the bespoke storage bench that was made for an alcove in their kitchen. I wouldn't hesitate in using Ekos furniture again for my next project.

We wanted a total face-lift to our top floor bedrooms and also had the challenge that my wife was expecting, so timing and having everything ready before the little one arrived was crucial. We also wanted assurance the work would not be rushed but finished to a high standard with decent quality materials used that will last for years. I randomly came across EKOS and from the first meeting with Gary, I was very impressed and knew if I wanted a job done properly and in a timely manner, this is the man that will make it happen. I found Gary to have an incredible eye for creativity and design details, with so much thorough thought put behind every aspect of his work from start to finish. I am not the easiest of customers to please and have high standards and expectations, yet I was amazed how Gary and his team adapted to our somewhat awkward requirements, stuck to those ‘til the end, leaving no stone unturned and to our satisfaction. We have an architectural property that equally comes with an interior design challenge. All our bedrooms were totally gutted out from re-building false walls with insulation to new re-enforced flooring and new modern electrical and data wiring to create “audio visual bedrooms” with a “WOW” factor and practical daily conveniences. A beautiful nursery was created, utilising efficient use of space and I gained a new office area with beautiful bespoke practical design under a skylight that provides a well-lit surrounding environment for the modern working from home parent. Gary’s speciality is carpentry & wardrobes, coupled with his Project Management skills and professional Scope of Works definition, I would thoroughly recommend his company to undertake any domestic renovations needed for a home, be it large or small.

I had my small kitchen designed and fitted by Ekos Kitchens in August 2014. From the time Gary arrived with his well stocked van of samples through to the end product I found the service to be excellent. Gary was accessible at all times and advised me of the progress throughout. I was overseas while the renovations were done and he was trustworthy and dependable. I am extremely happy with the design and fitting of the kitchen. Gary had many great ideas which I hadn't thought of and after 12 months I am still happy with my new much more functional small kitchen. I strongly recommend Ekos Kitchens.

We had two areas of our house designed by Ekos. The entrance area and the kitchen. The entrance was very narrow with a closet which was basically a dumping ground for coats and shoes. Gary from Ekos created a wider entrance area (which conveniently has space for the baby pushchair) and a mudroom area where we can sit comfortably to take our shoes off and store and hang our coats. There are also internal french doors which open into the living room. Our entrance is now spacious and practical. The kitchen was a 1970's kitchen with two walls that needed to be knocked down to create an open plan space while having the following factors to consider: a staircase overhead, uneven walls, I wanted adequate cupboard space, bar counter. All boxes were ticked and beyond my expectations. Gary was mindful to our needs and asked how we use our kitchen. The design he created was very clever and nothing what we had imagined. He solved the problem of creating a utility area where the washing machine was 'hidden' behind doors and a tall utility cupboard which stores the hoover and ironing board. We are very pleased with the results and usability. We wanted two colours for the worktops. One side White Quartz and the bar counter worktop area wood. He gave us advice and samples on appropriate colours which would work with our chosen bamboo flooring. Advice was also given on wall colour and any questions I had they were answered professionally and with thought. I would recommend Ekos.
