Evie Willow, owned and run by Dan Allen, lovingly builds bespoke, made-to-measure kitchens and furniture from our workshop in the Cotswolds.
I started Evie Willow because I wanted to offer clients a quality handmade product at a sensible price. I have extensive experience in cabinet making and fitting kitchens. Every bespoke kitchen has its own challenges, but there is nothing you need that I will not be able to deliver. I am passionate about delivering promises and we are very good at overcoming any challenges, going the extra mile to get it right for you.
I oversee the project from your initial enquiry to a bottle wine for you once we’re finished, so you can rest assured you’re in good hands.
We are very much a family business, there are currently nine of us; designers, cabinet makers, painters, fitters and me, Daniel. A small team ensures your kitchen will be designed, built and fitted by people who are working closely together and with you to ensure you get everything you need and everything runs smoothly.

Dream kitchen. Evie Willow designed and fitted the kitchen in our extension last year. We could not be more pleased. It is such a pleasure to spend time in the kitchen now and that’s why it has taken me several months to write this review.
The kitchen was custom built around our requirements, so there is no wasted space and despite us being quite particular with some of the details Evie Willow surpassed our expectations. We also delayed the fitting date a couple of times as the build was running late and they were extremely helpful and accommodating despite the inconvenience to them.
We particularly love:
•Quality feel of the cupboards and drawers (and the paint is very robust to the odd knock)
•Larder cupboard with built in spice racks
•Spacious pan drawers
•Snug fit around built-in appliances
•Access panel in cupboard floor to manhole cover
•Pull out shelf in our extra deep corner cupboard
Thank you Evie Willow. We will be back should we ever move house.

Evie Willow have recently designed and fitted our kitchen and utility room. The design process was really inclusive and the end result is just fantastic.
The whole team are so friendly and responsive and the quality of the units is as good as we could have ever hoped for. The partners they work with have exactly the same positive attitude to service.
Before we decided to go ahead with Evie Willow we shopped around but I can hand on heart say that no one else provided the quality and value for money that Evie Willow have provided.

Evie Willow attention to detail and craftsmanship is simply incredible. We have had a kitchen, utility, dressing room and now a lounge cabinet and every time they surpass themselves from the quality, to the finish, to the professionalism and friendliness of the staff.. we have had no reservations recommending them to friends and all of them have been 100% totally satisfied and grateful to us for the introduction. I can only say why would anyone want to use anyone else???

What an amazing company! Every aspect of our relationship with Evie Willow has been enjoyable, from discussing designs with Dan, to seeing our kitchen being made in the workshop, to the expert fitting by Steve. The devil is in the detail and Evie Willow do detail incredibly well. Our kitchen is stunning, beautiful yet functional, with ingenious use of space and designed exactly to our personal requirements. Everyone who comes to the house is impressed with the standard of the craftsmanship and it is now our favourite room in the house! We cannot recommend Evie Willow highly enough.

We recently had an Evie Willow kitchen designed and fitted. From the outset Dan and Katie were professional and helpful. They listened to our requirements and what we wanted to achieve and made the process enjoyable and stress free. The attention to detail and craftsmanship during the build and fitting process was excellent. We are delighted with the end product and have had a lot of compliments from friends and family. We did a lot of research and spoke with many kitchen companies before deciding to use Evie Willow. Unlike other companies they did offer a bespoke service and nothing was too much trouble. We would not hesitate to recommend them.

Recently had a kitchen made and fitted by Evie willow and we absolutely love it! we have a very old property and wanted a quality kitchen that had a wow factor whilst in keeping with the overall Georgian look of the house and we have not been disappointed. Dan, Katie and Steve were professional, efficient and knew exactly what I wanted with the minimum of fuss and have given us a stunning kitchen that will stand the test of time, the cupboards are solid and beautifully made and the drawers are all dovetailed and soft closing and we can not recommend them highly enough! The whole process from start to finish was smooth and professional and o can highly recommend Evie Willow and will be recommending them to family and friends for any future projects. We paid this man in July for a kitchen to be delivered in Aug, the kitchen should have been delivered to our home by this date. It did not turn up as promised in August, then the next date was given to us was the 5th Sept. It still was not delivered. We were not informed why it had not turned up, we had to go to his factory to find out it was not even in production. On 7th Sept we received 30% of the kitchen.
The units supplied to us are made from MDF and a construction plywood, despite claims on the company website that they do not use MDF and all timber is to be hardwood. The two doors supplied are a pieces of MDF that have been routed to shape, the draw fronts are plain MDF painted. We chose to use this supplier on the basis that we were going to get a kitchen made from hardwood not MDF, which we believed we would receive as per his website.
Again this is does not match his claim that he does not use MDF. The kitchen units supplied do not even fit properly as Dan did not measure them properly.
We have told him we do not want his kitchen and to just pay us back our money. He has
refused to refund our money and just insists that he wants paying for the kitchen in full and the rest of the units which we do not have. This is despite the kitchen not being fit for purpose.
If you want an MDF kitchen use this company, if you want a timber kitchen go elsewhere.
We are in the process of taking him to court to get our money back.

The whole experience of having our bespoke Evie Willow kitchen was excellent - from the initial design consultations, manufacturing, right through to the final installation.
Everyone we dealt with was professional and courteous at all times and nothing seemed too much.

As everything we make is bespoke and to order we require specific information from the customer so that we can ensure the kitchen will function. We aim to have all the appliances, sink taps and handles confirmed so that we can check them over and ensure that the cabinets suit the requirements. We aim to have this information around 5 weeks before the delivery date to give us sufficient time to amend the working drawings.
If we are not provided with this information then the kitchen can be delayed going into manufacturing. We always work closely with our customers and guide them on the relevant choices for their appliances. The delivery was later than the original date provided by Evie Willow, it was ten working days from when we had the appliance choices confirmed - a very quick turn around on a bespoke kitchen. The base unit carcasses were supplied on the first delivery, and the rest of the kitchen was ready to be delivered the next day, once we received the outstanding payment. Chris was given the option to receive the units complete but he preferred to have the carcasses first to proceed with the installation. The units we supplied were made from 18 mm thick tulip hardwood plywood - a very high grade of ply with a very good strength to weight ratio. It is used in the marine industry but is very well suited to kitchens.
It is made from the same hardwood as the door frames and cabinet frames, it gives a uniform paint finish on the cabinets. We used this plywood for every carcass upright panel, base and top ( all of the 18 mm material in the kitchen). We do use a different material for the solid 9mm back panels and this can also be used for some of the finished end panels as it is more stable in the 9 mm thickness required. It is a type of MDF - moisture resistant medite.
This is the best product available for a paint finish and we guarantee this product for 20 years. We discuss the materials in great detail with our customers as we do variate to specific requirements. We are also very open with how we construct the kitchens. We often walk our customers around the workshop so that they can see the cabinets being constructed in the flesh. We have never misled a customer or tried to conceal the materials we use. Chris decided to have an Evie Willow kitchen because he was impressed with the product when he fitted an Evie Willow kitchen for a customer of his a few years ago. His new kitchen was made from the exact same materials to the same high standard. We work hard to resolve any concerns with our customers and do an honest good job. When a customer is abusive and rude it makes it very hard to have a productive conversation.
