From the moment of visiting the showroom right through to the installation we have had an excellent experience with First Choice. Our new bathroom looks stunning and many thanks to Stu, Steve and Kev for their attention to detail during the refit. Professional at every level. And they became like part of the family. We had our kitchen well designed from First Choice Kitchens, Southend. We had a product white gloss installed but after a short time it chipped and cracked in a lot of areas. The fitting was a poor and overall left us very dissatisfied with our kitchen.

We have been a customer of First Choice kitchens for a good number of years and we have always received good customer care and service, however with Jo joining the team, in my opinion, they have moved up to a higher level. The attention to detail and responsiveness is second to none and we will continue to remain a customer and would happily recommend them to other friend's and family in the area.

Can I give more than 5 stars? - If I could, I would! From the first step I took inside First Choice Kitchens showroom, to beyond the end of the project, I have experienced excellent customer service, design, fitting, value for money and after care. What was really impressive was the time Joe and Dick took to really understand what I wanted from the space I had - and I wanted quite a lot with not much available space! Despite other kitchen designers being adamant that I would not be able to comfortably fit in a seated area, Dick and Joe looked beyond the original kitchen design limitations and came up with a solution to accomodate my wants. Dicks ideas and Joe's design skills and patience with me, as I ran through (many!) different plans, was exceptional. The fitting process was swift and efficient. Of course, we met inevitiable issues as you do in these projects, especially as the custom fit bench seat wasn't the easiest space to work with - drains/fuse boxes etc etc. But Dick would always stop by and talk through solutions to make it work. Although I usually dread having workmen in the home, the fitters were so lovely, skilled (and tidy!) it wasn't a problem at all. The whole family loves our new space. I have my much wanted seating area due to their clever design ideas, which it means our kitchen is now a multifuncitonal room and we can spend so much more time in there. I highly recommend First Choice Kitchens.

We recently had First Choice Kitchens supply and fit a new kitchen for us, they were very friendly, helpful and professional. They came round to give a quote and design the kitchen, there was no pressure and their ideas were excellent. After accepting the quote we changed our mind on a couple of things and asked for some extras, nothing was a problem. The fitting team they use were very good, taking good care of the units whilst working. Their work was clean, tidy and completed with the minimum of disruption. We had a couple of doors with marks on them which were replaced with no fuss. All in all an excellent job from start to finish, the whole team were friendly and professional, nothing seemed to be a problem and we now have a lovely new kitchen at what I felt was a fair price. I have no hesitation recommending First Choice Kitchens.

Having used First Choice Bathrooms on several occasions in the past, we decided to try out First Choice Kitchens at our new house. We dealt first with Dick Turner but mainly with his successor Joe Buckingham after Dick's retirement. The work involved the provision of new 'fronts' to existing units, new worktops, new taps, and a new fridge and cooker together with the re-painting of the kitchen/diner walls, re-tiling and the re-plastering of both ceilings. We were taken through the process step-by-step and all our questions answered. Just after the work had started we were hit by lockdown which put a sudden stop to everything. Even so, we were impressed by the efforts made by Joe and his team to ensure that we weren't left high and dry without facilities for cooking and cold storage. When work was eventually able to resume the team coped well under difficult circumstances. We were talked through any problems and given clear options to choose from. Small issues such as the rattles in the sliding glass serving-hatch partitions were attended to until they were got right. All the waste materials were quickly disposed of. When we hear some of the horror stories about other kitchen designers and fitters we think we were right in making First Choice our first choice - especially given that most of the work was done in the wake of a pandemic!

From the moment we entered the showroom, we had nothing but professional sound advice. Joe's guidance and knowledge of products was second to none with practical solutions and good technical design. Having used First Choice and Joe before, we wouldn't go anywhere else.

Just felt we wanted to write a Review... We have recently had a new kitchen at both our home and our sons. Very pleased all round with service, price and work done. Would definitely recommend to others, we were recommended by my cousin. Dick and Joe were very helpful in many ways, with suggestions for what would work for us etc. The men that worked for them doing the building and plumbing work were friendly, tidy and efficient too, considering the upheaval involved with such a job. It took time, but if you want a good job done what can you expect!! The electricians and tiler and plasterers used were also good. All had to fit in with each other and managed that between them! I highly recommend First Class kitchens. Dick gave good advice on how to plan our kitchen and his team were efficient, tidy and never left us without all our services. The quality of their kitchens are beautiful and the plans they draw up are so helpful so you have a good idea of how it will look. We recommended them to our friends who too went on to be very happy!
