Great British Kitchens & Interiors

Great British Kitchens combines quality design and bespoke products with excellent service and craftmanship. We have now used them for three rooms—our kitchen, study, and craft room—and the level of detail has been consistent across every project. The end-to-end process, from the initial inquiry to completion, was well managed and we were made to feel comfortable throughout. Our designer, Jack, took the time to understand our space and managed to translate our vague list of criteria into a functional, beautiful reality in each room. While we gave him free reign on the design, the process remained collaborative. Visiting the showroom to refine finishes and choose appliances allowed us to input into a design we felt reflected our tastes and vision yet allowed us to benefit from their professional expertise and experience. The cabinetry is handmade in their own workshop and is, therefore, bespoke and well made. The installation was seamless, on time and to budget, benefitting from having an experienced fitter who is employed directly by the company. Every member of the team has been friendly and professional. Jack stayed in touch throughout each build to ensure everything went as planned and also coordinated with a local flooring company we had chosen. Our rooms have been completely transformed into spaces we use more and love being in. Thank you to everyone that played a part in the process. Great British Kitchens delivers exactly what they promise: a premium, tailored product backed by a team that genuinely cares about the finished result. An investment well worth making for the quality and service received.

Vince and the team at GBK are an absolute pleasure to work with. They're professional, friendly and they have executed the brief for my new kitchen and utility room to perfection. Their attention to detail is such that it removes all stress from the process and they were able to work around some frustrating build and timing issues and adapt as necessary. We are absolutely thrilled with the end result and I highly recommend them.

We live in a very wonky beamed house and the level of craftsmanship evident in how our cupboards have been fitted is genuinely extraordinary. The care taken to measure everything properly and then later to scribe huge pieces of timber to our walls and floors is worth every penny. We already knew GBK because they made our kitchen in a modern extension. It is really well made, practical and beautiful. The service from this company was faultless, we were never under any pressure to buy and it really felt like they cared about the project. They were less pushy, more responsive and far more practical than some of the more expensive better known names and I genuinely think that they made us a superior kitchen. No real surprise that we returned for our wonky wardrobes, but we are ever so glad that we did. Thank you to all of you. Hopefully you won’t all hide when we return for more wonky projects in the not too distant future!

We very rarely write a review or pass comment on any business or activity, but I feel compelled to write about Great British Kitchens & Interiors Ltd. Realising we needed a new or updated kitchen we duly scoured the kitchen workshops and suppliers in our area. Upon arrival at their showrooms at Badgers Mount (Polhill) it was.obvious that GBK was a serious contender for our hard earned cash. Experiencing no pressure to purchase, we were guided through their range of units and it became obvious to us that GBK were the company to use. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. But it’s one thing to see your dream kitchen in a showroom, against perfectly smooth walls and level floors, what would it look like in our 1930’s semi? We need not have worried, the fitting of our kitchen was superb. Attention to detail and constructed as if the fitter was placing the kitchen in his own house. The kitchen we chose was not cheap but in this life you only get what you pay for.. WE HAVE NO HESITATION WHATSOEVER IN RECOMMENDING Great British Kitchens & Interiors Fred & Sue Griffiths

Really pleased to have used Great British Kitchens. They have done a faboulous job from start to finish. We are so happy with the outcome of our kitchen. Great British Kitchens have a great eye for detail and when I mentioned that I was worried about a join on the top, they went out of their way to make sure that I was worrying over nothing. Great service, lovely people. Ross and Kristina

Originally visited this company for a Bora demonstration but went on to order all our kitchen appliances through them because we were so impressed by their knowledge and customer service. Highly recommended.

Total satisfaction with GBK. My wife and I visited GBK at Polhill and were made to feel very welcome by Jack. We were very impressed with the showroom and the quality of cabinets on display compared to other places we had visited. To cut a long story short, Jack gave us complete confidence that GBK would take care of everything and project manage the whole job from rip out, electrics, fitting etc. After visiting the site and providing us with the plans/visuals and after some tweaking we agreed on their quote. Jack had the vision on how to reconfigure our kitchen design to make it more efficient to incorporate all our requirements and feel more spacious, which was something other company designers had not thought to do. Jack and Vince could not have been more helpful during our decision making and were very patient as we spent a lot of time going over what would or wouldn’t work for the size of our kitchen, as they want it to be perfect. We were given an approximate date on when the works would begin which they complied with too (February 2020). We were very impressed with their workmanship and the professionalism of Bill, our fitter and his team. Bill was a delight to have at our home together with his colleagues from GBK and the electricians who all worked hard. All arrived on the specified day’s and times. We were expecting a lot of mess but are pleased to report that it was minimal, considering the amount of work involved. All the work has now finished and we are over the moon with the end results from the quality of installation, cabinets, worktops and the recommended appliances which all look superb. We would have no hesitation in using GBK for other work in our house or recommending them to others. GBK has promised to return six months after installation, which is all part of their service, to adjust any natural movement with doors etc once everything has settled. We have complete confidence in their aftercare service having experienced their high standards of workmanship etc, already. David & Mary, Hayes, Bromley

GBK were first class from the start of our project to the finish as was the after service. The whole team from planning to fitting were a joy to work, and have a cup of tea with. I would have no hesitation in recommending them or using their services in future. If you need a kitchen, new or a facelift, don’t waste time searching around, just visit Vince and the team , who will do it all for you.

Vice and his team recently installed a full new and very modern kitchen/breakfast room for us,-having installed our previous traditional farmhouse style kitchen some years ago. They cover all types of design and there is great flexibility of choice. On both occasions, the pre-planning was meticulous,-offering both support and suggestions. The work itself was carried out very professionally and completed to time, with as little disruption as possible. We are very pleased with the results-and would have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone. The fact that we returned to them a second time, speaks for itself. Jack and Helen Cain

I'm thrilled with my new kitchen, the quality and workmanship is excellent. Great British Kitchens & Interiors were a pleasure to work with, professional, efficient, friendly and they really listened and cared about what I wanted. They did all the preparation and finishing which made the process completely stress free, a really fantastic job and I have nothing negative to say at all. I have no hesitation in recommending them, enjoy your journey.

GBI has designed and installed a kitchen for me in two properties in the past ten years. Both times the service from start to finish was excellent. The process was seamless; all members of the team were professional and a delight to work with, the workmanship faultless and the end product, on each occasion, was of exceptional quality. I would happily recommend Great British Interiors to anyone who wants a kitchen they can be proud of.
