I so wanted to leave a more positive review for Hub. The staff seemed down to earth and trustworthy and the quotation was competitive, so I went for the local business as opposed to the Nationals for my Kitchen Refit. Unfortunately the pandemic took it's toll and delayed commencement of the installation, that said, there are a number of issues, which cannot be attributed to this. We discussed at length the specification and finishes but after paying the 20% deposit, it turned out that some of our requests had been "unheard or overlooked", adding to the cost. The installation was bitty and lasted 3 weeks or more. An issue with an appliance is now resolved.

Stuart and Lisa run this wonderful company, being new to the area we wanted a company who do it all and we found one, within 5 days of visiting Stuart and Lisa at the showroom in Cleveleys, they listened to all our requirements, showing us a variety of examples and offering advice on products, Stuart came to our small bungalow and very quickly produced a cad drawing for us to sit down and discuss, he showed us how we could turn our dark and dingy kitchen into a stylish modern functional diner kitchen flooded with light from the new velux window. We were given a fit out time of 3 weeks, exactly 3 weeks later our beautiful kitchen was ready, every night the sight was cleaned, all rubbish removed, the whole room was re plastered, new floor and ceiling, new boiler fitted and re wired, new radiator, new windows, the fitting of the units is millimeter perfect, all AEG appliances fitted, their was nothing HUB couldn't and wouldn't do to ensure the clients satisfaction, our new kitchen is fabulous, we would recommend HUB to anyone who wants perfection, brilliant customer service and fantastic design innovations. We used Hub for our new kitchen, and from the initial discussion, through design to installation, we couldn't fault them - they were responsive, helpful, and knowledgeable at every stage of the process. The contractors they used were also first class, and everything went more or less to schedule. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

We decided earlier this year that our 16 year old kitchen needed upgrading. After speaking to our neighbours, who highly recommended Hub, and then viewing the finished kitchen recently installed at their property, which was quite simply stunning and of superb quality and finish, we decided to visit Hub at their Cleveley's showroom. Our neighbours had quotes from 4 other bespoke kitchen design companies but said that Hub had proved to be the right choice for them....... (not the cheapest but not the dearest either) We fully intended to obtain quotes from several different companies as our neighbours had done and then make our choice. Right from the first contact with Lisa at the Cleveley's showroom, and a home visit from Stuart, we were both impressed and reassured that Hub was the company we would choose to carry out the work without us bothering to obtain any other quotes. (not something i would normally recommend) As our neighbours had chosen Hub after extensive quotes, pricing and research we felt we could save ourselves a lot of time and effort, and were confident from the outset that we would not regret our decision. Our kitchen required a wall to be removed in order to make the kitchen/dining room open plan, an RSJ to be installed, full re-plastering, new ceiling and lighting, construction and installation of a floating extraction system with concealed lighting and a partial rewire to be completed. We were both very nervous about this scale of work involved but Stuart and Lisa allayed all our fears, answered all our questions and explained this was all in a days work for them, and that Stuart would project manage the whole operation using his specialist team. We very nearly changed our minds at the last minute and asked for a new design/price for a kitchen without the knocking down of the existing kitchen/dining room dividing wall. We are now extremely glad we continued with the original plan !!! The work started and was finished in 10 working day's, and we could not be more delighted with the resulting new kitchen. We would have no hesitation in recommending Hub Kitchen Design to anyone considering a new kitchen. Many thanks to Lisa, Stuart and all the professional team at Hub from us both !! After researching numerous local kitchen design companies we decided on Hub. The decision became easier than we thought, from the initial booking of a home visit with Lisa in the showroom with her enthusiasm and knowledge of different products. Stuart came round an impressed us again with his enthusiasm and lots of ideas that we had not even considered, so we ended up with a bigger project than we expected. This included his ideas on structural changes that gave us more space and storage for a very similar budget to other companies for just replacing cupboards and working tops. Work began on time, with builders,electricians, plasterers etc organised very efficiently by Stuart who kept us informed all the way through on progress. He was also very good at dealing with our extra requests and what impressed us most was his attention to detail. In all a very good experience. Lisa, Stuart and their professional workforce were all a pleasure to deal with.
