After much effort to find the right kitchen design and supplier, I had a recommendation to approach James James. The connection resulted in my having exactly the design and kitchen I hoped for, with seamless delivery and installation. I am delighted with the result. I'm delighted with my lovely new kitchen which was inspired by a display in the James James showroom. From design to completion I was supported by friendly and professional staff who kept me in the loop throughout. The fitters did an excellent job and the result looks amazing. Really pains me to not be in a position to write a better review here, but unfortunately we are now almost 4-months post installation of our kitchen and we are still waiting for "teething" issues to be resolved - this most recently refers to a bowed door, which happened weeks after installation and for a replacement of a FOC / goodwill gesture door, which was kindly offered on the 9th September, but unfortunately is yet to actually be replaced. We have had no post-installation visit from James James, which I understand happens as standard for all their clients, yet the ones that most probably need it the most have been forgotten. Initial design stage and pre-sales support could not be faulted; Stephen came up with a great design that he worked to make perfect; they were competitive on price too and as a close family member had their kitchen installed by them, I felt confident in investing with them for our kitchen redesign. However, sadly since installation there has been a large number of issues and customer service has at times been poor; We are apparently "that customer" that everything goes wrong for - which may satisfy the James James team in justifying why there were so many issues for us, however it doesn't help us feel completely satisfied after such a big investment. Their installer, Paul Proudman, is excellent and has gone above and beyond, often addressing issues that fall way outside of his remit. Maria, on the occasion I spoke to her, was helpful and reassuring that our many issues were being sorted, however, I still have two doors sitting in my hall-way, which have been there for almost 4 weeks! Possibly we are "that customer", however in sharing my review I hope that improvements can be made so that others don't end up as another "that customer" and can feel confident that their investment in a new kitchen has been spent wisely.

The service was excellent from start to finish. Everyone involved was professional, efficient and helpful. Communication was excellent - we were well informed throughout the whole process.

From my initial visit to the shop in West Kirby I was treated with courtesy by designer, installer and management. A wide range of units was offered and I got exactly the colour and style I was looking for.
