KW Kitchens

Ours was a small job, just replacing 5 doors and 2 door fronts but they offered to repaint an existing fitted cupboard so it more closely matched the new doors and drawers. The paint was applied over the existing paint with no preparation or undercoat and soon began to peel off. When asked to comment they denied having painting the cupboard and claimed “we don’t do painting”. It was pointed out to them that the painting was actually done at their suggestion and is itemised, together with the cost of the paint, on their quotation and invoice, but they have not had the courtesy to reply. Shoddy and incompetent workmanship and absolutely no after sales services. Can see nowhere to leave a review on their website which claims “we have partnered with Feefo to capture feedback” but the Feefo website says “KW Kitchens is no longer an active Feefo customer”.

It's a real shame that this company let themselves down so badly, particularly with their non existent 'aftercare'. The 'consultation' period was somewhat chaotic which really wasn't ideal given we hadn't ever designed / fitted a kitchen before. We felt quite alone and not supported at all throughout the process which was daunting when making big decisions. Roll on 1 year later and we started to see signs of the bottom of the kickboards and fixed panels starting to swell and split looking unsightly. We also found that the panels had been installed with the cut end meeting the floor and the sealed end meeting the worktop (surely the wrong way around!) We confronted Roger the MD on numerous occasions about this and he did send out some replacement panels that weren't cut to size and which he refused to send his fitter out to replace for us! Instead Roger accused us of 'mopping the floor in the wrong way' eh? Sorry? We mop our floor much the same as anyone else with a damp mop which in our case is a modern looking thing that's almost dry! Anyway we are still sat with the split panels (see the picture to get the jist) and Roger has now stopped communicating so we're having to take legal advice. Such a great shame that they couldn't have sorted what would have been an easy job for them to resolve I guess as the kitchen (with our new found design skills ) looks great but is ruined by the panels splitting. Be very careful if you're considering using them and maybe look for a company that won't leave you high and dry if anything goes wrong. KW Kitchens have tried completely shifted any blame for their incorrect fitting of our kitchen to the manufacturer however it's Plain and simple that this an installation issue as they installed panels that were not sealed against water ingress which they take no responsibility for. Who doesn't use water to clean their kitchen floor? *** Updated **** It's interesting how KW Kitchens seem to believe the manufacturer concluded water had been let on the floor when there has been absolutely no investigation on their part! make your own decisions however they really could have avoided this with an easy resolve. KW Kitchens have not had the courtesy to visit our property to look at the issues.

Could not be more pleased with our kitchen revamp by fitting team Damien and Aiden. It looks wonderful!! Would not hesitate to recommend. Fitters paid great attention to detail and were very professional. Very happy Karen and Geoff Winsford

Chose KW Kitchens because we wanted to give a local firm our business and we are really pleased we did. There was a bit of a delay with the fitting date but that wasn’t the firm’s fault (COVID-19 caused slow supply of custom built worktops) and we were kept updated with developments. Roger and his team were accommodating and courteous throughout, the fitting service was great. Danny did an amazing job, always keeping us up to date with progress, consulting on the small details and did an expert job with the fitting.

We are really pleased with the results of our kitchen makeover. KW Kitchens replaced our worktops, cupboard/drawer fronts, plinths and cornices at a really competitive rate. As it is a family-run business, you get the sense that customer care is at the forefront of the service they provide and this was demonstrated by their responsiveness to questions. An excellent service was provided by the sales team and the fitters. Highly recommended.

The product is exceptionally good quality and the carpenters/fitters do the product justice with their splendid workmanship and professionalism. If we were to rate both parties it would have to be 10/10

Great advice on design and layout from Roger followed up by the most excellent fitting from Danny. It’s a magical formula which works absolutely.

We are very happy with our new "facelifted" kitchen done by KW Kitchens. The new doors have been expertly fitted, and the new worktop looks amazing. The new oven and sink are sleek and the whole kitchen looks wonderful. The work was completed in under two days with a minimum of disruption. Very polite and professional people to work with. Thank you.

Roger was extremely helpful attending at our home with a vast selection of brochures and samples of worktops, cupboards flooring splashbacks and appliances. No hard sell he would only offer an opinion on which were better quality wise than others in order to assist in making choices. Dan and Ian, the fitters were in a word brilliant. The project involved removing a very dated kitchen. Knocking out an internal wall, plastering ceiling and parts of the walls and then fiiting cupboards worktops and appliances. Every night they left the kitchen tidy not like a building site. They turned up every day , the whole job taking 8 working days. We were only without appliances ie cooker washing machine, dishwasher for 3 days. Standard of workmanship was absolutely first class. The new kitchen looks amazing and we are extremely happy. A new kitchen is a major project in any home both from a financial and disruptive point of view. KW Kitchens did an amazing job and I would thoroughly recommend them. Well Done.

I contacted three prospective kitchen suppliers. Roger came to initiate the design. Of the three he was the only one who grasped what we wanted and produced a plan. He was both diligent and patient until we arrived at the final drawings. Then Danny took over to fit the new kitchen. He was incredibly professional, prompt and completed the job on time without a problem. We are delighted with the end result and have been complimented on the work by every visitor to our home. Thank you so much.

Danny and Ian were fantastic from start to finish in fitting our new kitchen Their attention to detail on each part of the job was spot on They have exceeded our expectations and transformed the space into a focal part of our house

Just had my kitchen revamped by K W Kitchens and what a difference it has made. We are extremely pleased with the work from start to finish and the fitters, Danny and Ian worked very professionally, quietly and cleaning up after them. Would definitely recommend them.
