Robert Marsden - Kitchens & Interiors

As part of the renovation of our 200-year old farmhouse, we asked Robert to design and fit our new kitchen, which needed to have modern features whilst blending in with the original house; the result is fabulous! There are many things to praise Robert for, but the two most obvious are the care with which he designed the kitchen in close collaboration with us, and the absolute attention to every detail during the build. What we also really liked was that Robert used his vast experience in advising and designing the kitchen, but was great at listening to some of our ideas and helping to incorporate them. He also gave great advice on the additional suppliers (e.g. granite tops and working with the stonemasons; sourcing best value appliances, liaising with our electrician and plumber). Robert is a perfectionist, so expect him to keep checking every detail with you. He was a pleasure to have around whilst he carried out the fitting and did a great job at keeping within our budget. We can genuinely recommend him without reservation.

Robert has recently finished refurbishing our Ultima kitchen. We hated the original colour and there were a few other niggles but the layout was, by and large, OK. So we kept the carcasses and Robert replaced all the panels and doors in our preferred colour, also adding cornices which were missing previously and making a few other adjustments. He took immense care and we are really pleased with the result. We can thoroughly recommend him.

Robert has just finished installing our wonderful new kitchen and we couldn't be more delighted with the result, from our very first meeting through planning and installation Roberts experience, advice, professional approach and attention to detail ensured we have the perfect high quality bespoke kitchen we wanted. Our old cottage presented a few challenges along the way, Robert always consulted us about each issue and they were dealt with to give the best, and not the easiest solution for the installation. We’re thrilled with our new kitchen. We had a small outdated kitchen and wanted a practical family room that was still in keeping with our Victorian house. Robert spent so much time with us in the planning phase to ensure that we got exactly what we wanted. He provided practical ideas to every issue we raised. Robert has just finished our beautiful kitchen renovation. We are absolutely delighted with the results. Robert designed this kitchen before the room was even built. He visited us at every stage of the building work to ensure everything was to plan and liaised with our builder regarding measurements etc. He was meticulous at every stage making sure everything was fitted correctly and he was super clean and tidy. In addittion he assisted me with sourcing specialist items, for example, the arctic white glass splash backs used instead of tiles, plinth lighting etc. At no time did Rob pressure me into increasing my costs. I believe that due to all his efforts and support, throughout the whole process, Rob installed me a bespoke kitchen, of the best quality possible within the agreed budget. With each consultation my confidence in Rob Increased. From start to finish his commitment and enthusiasm for my project was completely exclusive and genuinely inspired. He commenced and completed on the agreed dates and made the whole experience worry free. To employ Rob was definitely one of my better life choices. I am now thoroughly enjoying my new kitchen, which due to the quality of its manufacture and professional installation I fully expect to continue enjoying for many years to come.
