Schmidt Kitchens St Albans

We have now completed our kitchen project with Schmidt St Albans. We have valued not just the quality of the products but also the high level of support we have received from day 1. The team took the time to get to know us and understand both our needs and style. Through a 3D view of our kitchen we could project ourselves and felt confident of our choice. We were positively surprised by the range of colours and patterns available. Thanks to all the above, we feel we have a kitchen that is unique to us. The team went the extra mile and guided us with the choice and sourcing of the floor tiling and extra furniture like kitchen stools. The timeframe and deadlines were respected and quality control of the installation was provided.This is our 3rd project with Schmidt and wouldn't go elsewhere.

We had a kitchen designed at Schmidt Kitchens St Albans. The Servie was great and Mike who designed our kitchen for us was very thorough and gave us lots of good ideas we had not considered. There was lots of options for styles colours and features. Mike made sure our install was completed before Christmas which was great and from talking to the installers he put a lot of effort in for us to get the kitchen we wanted in the time frame we wanted.

We've been working with Monish for the last 15 months or so and the whole process has been smooth and enjoyable. He is very knowledgeable and experienced and was able to create 2 very different kitchen design options for us to choose from. The Schmidt products and value for money speak for themselves - we got a bespoke product for around the same price as off-the-peg competitors! Communication and transparency has been brilliant all the way through. Our kitchen was expertly fitted last month and we could not be happier. We can not recommend Schmidt, and in particular Monish, highly enough. We're even speaking to him now about wardrobes!

We had a new kitchen on redesign of our home, very helpful planned every step of the way we also had a utility design to blend with kitchen but to be separate would highly recommend their services and designs

Schmidt review We had our kitchen done through Schmidt. We shopped around and were not impressed by other high street offerings. When we entered Schmidt, St Albans, we found the team very welcoming. They took all our brain dump about kitchen plan and idea. But Katerina did apply all her imagination and made us understand how the original plan can be made better. They made sure it is cost effective. But Katerina & her team’s suggestions were much as if one would design their own kitchen. So much intense involvement they showed. They were very professional and gave as many sessions as needed. The design we came up with made great use of space. The specs were very high standard and elegant. The designers showed great accommodations to our changes as well. Haydar helped with kitchen appliances and all were very high specs. The installation was super smooth. Initially I was in two minds about whether to use my builder or Schmidt installer. Katerina in most decisions was so helpful & guided us well. The installation choice to use Schmidt installer was perfect. They work to perfection and know exactly how to workout minor adjustments and overcome any hiccups without involving us. The cost was not very high than competitors but quality of design, guidance throughout & comforting service was unmatchable by other providers for sure. I would highly recommend Schmidt. Stunning! - absolutely stunning Michael and the team have created the most amazing kitchen for us in our new extension. We approached Schmidt Kitchens with some ideas of what we'd like but not having any real knowledge or experience to know for sure. Michael spent a lot of time with us, showing us what was possible, different types of materials, what would be practical and also highlighting what to avoid. We never felt we were being sold to. Quite the opposite actually - Michael was able to share his knowledge with us and explained his designs so that we could make informed decisions. We did tweak our design several times during the design process - Michael was very accommodating in that respect. We never felt rushed and everything was discussed in great detail until both we and him were satisfied. It felt like we were working as a team and that's important - being able to trust each other and working towards a spectacular end goal. His knowledge really shone through and he helped us to understand lighting, sightlines, colours, shadows, practical features, etc, etc. His contribution did not stop at the design stage. He would come on site when the building work was taking place and made sure dimensions, electrical points and other aspects were correct. He would give us advice on electrics, plumbing, building, flooring. All of these need to be thought of at the same time as the kitchen design. Michael knows about creating a holistic design which works. I'd definitely say that he became a very valuable member of our "House Dream Team". And a special mention to Haydar and the installation team. They put it all together in the end and made sure that everything was perfect. We are really happy with the new heart of our house. Schmidt provided excellent service and support through the entire process to replace our kitchen. We compared offers from 5 companies and selected Schmidt based on quality and value. During the design process Haydar and Monish offered lots of great suggestions on layout and colour, for example moving the oven and choice of quartz. During fitting Hadar and team oversaw the work. The result is a fantastic looking and functioning kitchen. I have no hesitation to recommend Schmidt for service and quality. Special thanks to Hadar and Monish.

Overall very pleased with the quality of the kitchen and service from Schmidt. My Planner Monish did a great job dicussing our needs and offered great suggestions. During the planning they were very accomadating in allowing us to take samples and adjust our colour schemes, layout and surfaces. Monish also checked up on us during the fitting and was quick to replace a damaged door unit when it was discovered. He also did a final check once the fitting was complete and identified a few missing details that were easily rectified. Final kitchen looks great and I'd certainly consider Schmidt again for the future. Only slight feedback would be the standard lite pressure sales pitch 'this is the best sale ever and ends soon', but I had this from all of the vendors I visited.

Beautiful kitchen and brilliant customer service The quality of Schmidt kitchen speaks for itself. The fact you get 25 years warranty on all moving parts and 10 years on furniture itself says it all. No hard sale needed. We had an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish of our kitchen project. Monish listened to what we wanted and needed, and designed a kitchen of our dreams (within our budget). Monish has been very responsive and accommodating through the whole process and it was a pleasure to work with him. We highly recommend Schmidt St Albans
