Schmidt Kitchens Tunbridge Wells

We took the plunge on building our own kitchen, and after several failed kitchen companies, we decided to try out Schmidt. Entering their show room, we initially thought we were in the wrong place for our limited budget, but the store manager James, assured us he could work to any budget. We already had a firm design in mind, and James was fantastic at taking that design and ensuring it would fulfill our lifestyle, space and above all, fit within our budget. He pointed out many other ideas and sugestions that we took on board and used with great effect. Schmidt Tunbridge Wells have been perfect in helping and supporting us through the whole process. It was refreshing that they still take the time to help long past the sales confirmation point, especially since we are also were self building. We still have some minor cosmetic touch-ups to finalise, (mainly painting and decorating now), but as soon as they are, I'm sure our efforts will be used to help Schmidt in the future - with photos. We cannot reccomend them enough, and won't hesitate to contact them in the future, not just for another potential kitchen, but more likely their bespoke storage solutions.

The redesign and complete refitting of our Kitchen and the creation of a Utility Room and Study was a significant project for us. We had already contracted a builder to carry out the restructure and fitting, but wanted to ensure that we made the right choice of supplier. In going about this task we shortlisted three kitchen companies and gave them all the same brief for our requirements. Of those three, Schmidt not only came up with the design that most closely met our specification, but were also the most proactive in making helpful suggestions to improve the overall layout and functionality whilst ensuring that the finished product would be both stylish and practical. We were impressed with the quality and finish of the kitchen units, as well as the overall design, delivery and support during the installation. Some six months after installation we continue to be very happy with the quality and functionality of the Schmidt Units. Like all big projects there were a few hiccups along the way but the Tunbridge Wells Showroom Manager, was exemplary in resolving those issues to our satisfaction. We like the fact that the units we have chosen look equally as good in our Kitchen, Utility Room and the Study, creating a sense of both cohesion and style. Based upon our experience, we would have no hesitation in recommending the team at Schmidt Tunbridge Wells to anyone else who was considering using them.

Schmidt did a fantastic job on 2 kitchens in 2 of our latest projects in Ardingly: 1st - a new build and the 2nd an extension on an existing property. At the beginning of the year we decided to extend and renovate our kitchen. Tracy from Schmidt did us a lovely design which meets with all our requirements. The team from Schmidt worked well with our builders to ensure everything was on time for us to take delivery of the new kitchen. Ryan ,the fitter, did a grand job and even came back at a later date to iron out one or two small issues we weren't completely satisfied with. Thanks

Overall we are very happy with the design, quality and fitting of our new kitchen and utility. Our designer, Tracy, was very patient with us during the design process and very accommodating with our (not infrequent) changes over an extended period. There were a few issues with the design/delivery although these have now largely been ironed out. The fitters that Schmidt used were also great and worked hard to get the kitchen up and running for us as quickly as possible. So we would recommend Schmidt - although prepare to be bamboozled by their paperwork !

I really enjoyed working with Tracey at Schmidt on my new kitchen. The whole team there are very welcoming and helpful. I had a tight budget and we found a way to achieve modern cupboards ,sink and tops mixed with my older pieces of furniture that worked very well . They did the best deal for me on the market for my quartz tops. i shopped around.. i used my own fitters with no installation instructions and everything on the packing list in french but it all went together smoothly. I am glad i bought solid wood fronts and premium accessories like sink,taps, door handles and cutlery draws from Schmidt . i have both a classic and modern kitchen that i love and it has put value onto my house. Thanks to the team for their patience as i constantly revised my plans to get into price. I am so glad i did not go to a regular supplier of kitchens and set my sights higher. it has been worth it ! Total cost with kitchen, dishwasher sinks ,taps, tops, my own fitter and decorating myself about 14k .

We were really plase with the quality of the product of our Schmidt kitchen and utility room. The design and layout is smart and makes use of the space available. We were helped through the design and installation prces and the fitter was good and quick to resolve snagging isgues. Would recommend.

I would thoroughly recommend Schmidt kitchens. As soon as I walked into the showroom I knew I didn’t need to go anywhere else. James was incredibly knowledgable without being pushy and listened to our needs, happy to change the design along the way to make sure we achieved our perfect family kitchen. Installation was smooth and professional and James was able to answer any queries along the way. The quality is outstanding and my stunning kitchen has totally transformed our family life.

We looked at many other suppliers and companies before deciding on Schmidt. The quality of the units is far better than other companies and as we had a complicated area to renovate it was important to have a designer who could meet the challenges. Tracy was extremely patient throughout the whole process and expertly guided us through the numerous decisions to achieve the desired finished look and the best use of space. She designed for us and our lifestyle. Obviously, with a total renovation of a kitchen, dining room and utility room there were a couple of glitches but these were resolved. Our home has been completely transformed and is unrecognisable from what it was before. The finished look is amazing.

From start to finish the service provided by Darren was excellent. We were most impressed by his excellent product knowledge; ability to ascertain our needs swiftly and to produce both paper and CAD drawings which met our needs exactly - with only a few minor adjustments.
