About Us

Treske make beautiful kitchens and fitted furniture at their workshops in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. The workshops and extensive showrooms with showcase a wide range of kitchens and furniture, are within an historic Maltings built in the 1840’s. Whether you are looking for a contemporary office, shaker style kitchen or traditional fitted bedroom, we can create fitted furniture that suits your taste, lifestyle and home! The team at Treske offer a kitchen design and installation service which includes your custom kitchen design, manufacturing in our Thirsk workshop, installation by our in house fitting team, which includes appliances and worksurfaces and kitchen installation management. Each kitchen and piece of furniture is made by our team of skilled craftsmen, lovingly hand made to order and customised to each customers individual requirements. Treske was founded in 1973 by John Gormley, brother of the sculptor. Since 2000, under the ownership of Justin Bartlett, the business has expanded carefully and enhanced its reputation for excellence. Treske upholds traditional values of superb materials, fine craftsmanship and talented designers, recognised by the award of the Manufacturing Guildmark by the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers.
