“The crew came out and did a great job pulling out and replanting the foundation planting at my home. The pulled out 7 old azaleas and 3 newer ones, The 3 they replanted in another area for me. The new planting was done quickly and all the material appears to be doing great. The Paperbark Maple is of excellent quality and well shaped. The crew was courteous and polite. The nandinas and hydrangeas used in the new planting were of excellent quality and size. This was not contractor grade material, true nursery stock quality.”

“I hired Chad at Surrounds, because I was looking for someone who could transform our backyard into another area for entertaining. We trusted him. He worked closely with us to present and modify the designs. He let us know when things would not work. We wanted a football field for the kids, as well as covered porch for the back and stone patio /fireplace or the fall. The landscaping was to tastefully hide our close neighbors and provide a southern style charm with year round color and lots of green texture. It is gorgeous on all counts. They flattened the yard and stonework is perfect. We love it.”

“We have used Landscape Concepts continuously since 2012 for landscape services, mowing and routine maintenance and clean up. They are really good at minimizing any disturbance of surrounding plants when they are working. They keep our property looking as good as it can be. Their crews are excellent: thorough, efficient, respectful and responsive. Their clean up after working is always really great. They have planted, transplanted, and removed trees, bushes and other plantings at my exact direction (I'm very hands-on). While the cost to guarantee their plantings is high (60% of the cost of the plant material) it is the industry standard and Dale honors his guarantee with no-cost replacement. They do excellent hard-scaping (stone walls, brick and paver patios, etc). They are usually pretty prompt, but some seasons are pretty busy, so give yourself some lead time if you have a hard deadline. Dale is very knowledgeable, responsive, accessible and easy to coordinate with. I find a lack of continuity with landscape architects on staff, so it is helpful for you to have an idea of what you like or want when it comes to designing a space. I always keep a project plan with detailed notes and make progress updates. Credit card payment is not accepted.”

“Elisa is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She also is sensitive to balancing my desires for our garden with my husband's. She replies quickly to all of my e-mails with thorough replies to my questions, and she attaches images and descriptions of flowers and shrubs where appropriate. “Katia Goffin delivered for me and family the garden of our dreams! When we met with Katia, we put a herculean task in front of her and she came back and delivered the garden that we always wanted. Katia is dependable, responsive, honest and above all else... extremely talented. Amidst a massive renovation and addition on our house, we had Katia come in and design all of the surrounding gardens [pool garden, driveway and courtyard, and front yard (approx 1.5 acres)]. She did the hardscape design as well, which goes perfectly with the rest of our house. Katia kept everything we wanted in mind and delivered a product that is beautiful and perfectly executed. Her attention to detail shines through in her oversight of the job. She is there every step of the way to ensure that you get the end result that you want. I have worked with many landscapers, architects, contractors and designers in my time and none are as impressive as Katia.
