“Matt and Kat make a great duo; Kat's designs are innovative yet practical, she took into consideration the fact that we both work, making the garden low maintenance (although it doesn't look it), we have teenagers so they have somewhere to hang out, plus a little one on the way so she incorporated plenty of space for us add a tipi (another of Kat's brilliant and unique ideas). Matt's workforce were reliable and efficient, with the ability to foresee issues and address them rather than cause delays. They were polite, cleaning up after themselves each day and generally doing a smashing job. We are over the moon with our new garden, all our visitors have commented on the amazing job and we can't wait to see what it looks like during the different seasons. Both myself and my partner would wholeheartedly recommend Earth Designs.”

“We wanted to convert a large and unused space in our garden into an area which would predominantly feature planting. It was also important that it blended into the open country-side beyond. Jeremy devised a huge, naturalistic planting scheme featuring seven large planting beds filled with flowers and grasses with narrow paths in-between. The plants are arranged in large swathes which provides great impact and also makes maintenance much easier. This garden now looks absolutely beautiful flowering from May through to October. Jeremy did a great job and we would certainly recommend him to others.”

“Victoria paid close attention to the ideas that we had for our completely blank canvas, new build garden. We only had ideas, but we lack the vision to pull those ideas together, and that's where Victoria really helped us. She created a few options and we found it so hard to choose a favourite, ending up pulling a few bits from each together to create a vision. Our garden plan is full and thorough and includes a fully comprehensive list of plants to include and where to place them. Our design has now been sent to some landscapers for quoting and we have recieved compliments from these professionals for the clarity of the design and spec. We are so excited to progress our design from Plans For Plants, and have a garden to relax in and enjoy.”

“We were very pleased with the design process, Kate took time to listen to what we wanted out of our garden, and how we envisaged using it in the future. She also was happy to tweak the design at our request, and what kind of plants we liked (or didn't like). From the initial design stages, to the construction and planting it has all been expertly handled, including always taking the time to listen to our concerns when we had problems envisaging the final result. The final garden was better than we had initially envisaged, and it is certainly more than living up to the expectations we had of it, so much so that we have spent most of the summer outside enjoying the garden. The only small point is that it would have been nice to have the final design in colour, but our garden was designed early in 2015 and I believe Tapestry Design Studios are now producing them that way. I would have no hesitation in recommending them as a Garden design company.”

“I couldn't fault Read Landscapes professionalism. From assisting with the design and discussing the best materials for the look I wanted, down to the absolute hard work during the 7/8 week project. We had daily meetings and updates to discuss progress and any changes needed. The job was a huge garden overhaul with c 95 tonnes of earth removed from a sloping garden, changing to 3 tiers. I couldn't have been happier with the end result. A year on and it's still beautiful and the plants are really starting to take shape.”
