“We moved into an existing home with a large lot (0.5 acres) that was all grass and full of potential. We interviewed and received concept sketches from several landscape architects and ultimately selected Dale Waldo. While Dale's concept sketches were not that differentiated from others in terms of the rough layout of the elements we wanted, his attention to smallest of details was quite differentiated. He was very attentive to views from within the house & from the yard, plants & soils, lighting, finish materials, clean lines, furnishings, etc. He also demonstrated a unique ability to really listen and adapt his design to what we wanted. So many landscape architects just do the same style of design each time and lack breadth in design. Dale was also very helpful in the bid process making sure we got the most for our money - we probably saved 20-30% with his help in the bid process and selecting the right high quality contractors. We ended up using 4 different contractors (pool, hardscape, softscape & lighting) to get the right value, and Dale was very helpful in coordinating and managing the project through completion - not without hiccups here and there, but that is expected. We completed our yard in record time to swim of the 4th of July. I would hire Dale again in a heartbeat. He is a good person and demonstrated the highest integrity at multiple points in the process.”

I wanted to see a picture of what the end result would look like. A friend of mine who builds pools told me to contact Carlos Torres who not only draws all of the blue prints, but also provides you with a 3D video of his vision. He took a couple of my ideas and ran with them. For the first time I was actually able to see what the finished product would look like (which was much better than I expected).
