“Carey was a delight to work with. She listened to my goals for my yard and created a long term plan for landscaping. The pictures are of phase one which is the front of the house. She found a water bowl that adds an architectural element and is lovely to look at in the rain. Installation was perfect and done in a timely manner. Can't wait to add to the project this spring.”

“Melissa MacDonald is a very talented and professional Landscape Architect. My husband and I are both architects and we had been trying to design the landscape for our home in the heart of historic Lexington MA. for a year. When we asked Melissa to help us, she promptly delivered a design that was sensitive to the traditional setting of Lexington's historic district and satisfied our spatial requests. The hard-scape is elegant and we have been enjoying the sequence of blooming plants since May. I am thrilled with Melissa's design and with her service. She worked seamlessly with the contractor who highly respected her expertise. “I would highly recommend Kris for any landscape design project. We have a tricky sloped backyard. He created a beautiful and well thought out design incorporating both plant design and hardscaping. He was professional, fast, and very accommodating for specific requests and changes during the design process. Plus he knows a great deal about plants and how they will grow and look together depending on the look you want. My favorite thing is he has a community of the actual working landscapers who he happily recommends once you are ready to execute his designs. You can’t go wrong choosing Kris for your project.”

“Bayberry Nurseries helped us chose a unique tree for our home landscape. The Bayberry associates harvested, transported and replanted our Paviflora on our property. They were professional, friendly, efficient, detail oriented, positive happy energy, hard working and a pleasure to have. I kind of feel they are like the landscape geeks! You know, the people who get really excited about plants and trees and know just way too much about them! This unique experience of choosing materials that are growing in the ground and have to be harvested was such a beautiful, joyful process. It's as if they not only care about the people, but they truly care about the trees and environment too. Justin really spent a lot of time to make sure he matched us with the right tree. We feel as if we have adopted into our family, a living energy that we will be happy to care for and watch grow. It was so easy!”

“Dave and his team were excellent. In our initial meeting, Dave was respectful and knowledgable, really listening to what we wanted. His detailed quote hit all the various options we asked for and included sample photos. Once the build started, his team was fast, clean, and courteous. We live on a busy street with many involved neighbors and everyone commented to me after how professional the team was. Along the way we made slight changes to the project which Dave was flexible to accomodate. The final product was better than we imagined and we're already talking future projects. Highly recommend!!”

“David Bartsch and I have worked on numerous projects together on Nantucket Island, he as the Landscape Architect and my company Nicholas Ferrantella Landscaping performing the landscape installations and maintenance. Founded in 1980, we have worked with many architects in the 33 years and David Bartsch is our favorite. His design of a small park on Nantucket Island for Nantucket’s Land Bank is brilliant and "Fair in the Main" has become a favorite place for people to stop and enjoy the peaceful garden and granite fountain. “Hilarie did a terrific job of design and executing a comprehensive landscape project for our North Shore property. She has an uncanny and unerring eye for what might work in a location and quickly comes up with creative ideas on how fill space. For example, we had an old stone anchor buried in the mud on the side of our property. She recommended placing it upright as the centerpiece in our side garden, where it now stands looking terrific. In addition, one of Hilarie's great strengths is her ability to co-ordinate all aspects of a project so that they mesh into an integrated whole. She also brings with her an excellent team which is talented, polite, hard working, and reasonably priced. We have continued to use them for ongoing maintenance and they have been great. Bottom Line- We highly recommend Hilarie. She is creative, professional, and easy to work with.”
