“We would like to highly recommend Serge van der Voo Landscapes! We hired Serge and his team to do a completely new landscape and hardscape at our historic home on Ann Arbor's Old West Side. The work was extensive and Serge was very flexible in agreeing to break it into three phases to be accomplished over two years. The plan he developed was beautiful. He first listened to our likes and dislikes and got to know us. He spent a lot of time at the house and around the neighborhood. The plan he developed was meant to represent the era of the home, this was reflected in the selection of plantings and the overall design. The crews that Serge employed were prompt and courteous and cleaned up each night. Serge went out of his way to update us as the work progressed and to educate us about the care of each planting. Once the work was completed Serge continued to come back and check on things. If there were plantings that did not work as planned Serge explained our options and helped from there. “Chad and his crew just recently completed a very large backyard landscape project complete with brick paver patio, fireplace, plants, shrubs and sod. It was a complete backyard overhaul. We were beyond pleased with his professionalism from start to finish. Chad had met with us on several different occasions to verify our needs and wants. He and his landscape architect designed a backyard landscape that met all of our expectations and functionality. As with any large project, unexpected alterations are bound to occur. Thankfully, only one of these "surprises" came up. Shortly after the fireplace retaining wall was complete, Chad found that the slope behind it was too great. In order to achieve an aesthetic and natural look, Chad came up with a few creative ideas in order to accommodate this drastic slope. He communicated well with us all of our options. I appreciate his work and the attention to detail. We have used several landscape companies for our other homes over the years. We would highly recommend Premier Landscaping for all of our landscaping needs. In fact, we will ask Premier Landscaping to overhaul our front yard next year.”
