“Eliza took a hugely positive and encouraging approach to her garden design work, and was a pleasure to work with. The project had two stages: initial and final, both of which were quoted in advance for price and timescales, and were delivered to the price and on time. The result was highly imaginative and interesting, and our garden attracts praise from everyone who visits us. We are still pleased with what we have and it has stood the test of time. We were recommended a choice of two contractors, and we got quotes from both and chose one of them. The implementation was good, but was let down by taking a very long time and poor pointing on the paving. A lot of this was caused by the weather (sustained torrential rain) and was really outside of Eliza's control. If there was anything that was less than perfect, it was the choice of some of the plants and their location. There were some tall plants that we ultimately failed to keep standing upright because of the wind (we are at the top of a hill). We had been hoping for more all year round plants and less that die down in the winter, but we knew very little at the time, and have since altered the mix a bit. However, we remain fully satisfied with the bit that is difficult to change, namely the hard landscaping.”

He has a good idea of the cost implications and the practical side of how the garden is to be constructed. The drawings he produces are second to none and not only can the client picture the garden we can build within 10mm of the drawing and it will work. He has great vision and we would recommend his skill to anyone undertaking a landscaping project”

“Michele Wake, designer, tackled the redesign of our difficult garden with ingenuity and professionalism. The steep gradient was always going to be the main problem, and to provide easy access to the whole garden was a priority. She managed to keep pretty much within budget, which was quite restricting and dictated the materials used. However, using sleepers and bark is very much in keeping with the woodland, natural feel we wanted. The contractors she recommended worked really well with this tricky project, even managing to bring a small digger in down the steep slope in wet weather. Michele was on hand whenever needed to make sure the garden was taking shape as she'd planned. We are delighted with the result, and get a huge amount of pleasure from it, even just looking at it from the house. We would definitely have no hesitation in recommening Greenwave..”
