“Our project was to develop a medium-sized garden, four miles from the Sussex coast, which faces south-west and suffers strong winds, lethal for many plant species, Barry Chambers of Changing Scenes, of Bognor Regis, successfully designed a colourful garden of raised flower beds, mature trees, large shrubs, a vegetable and sitting area and a stone beach with seaside plants, creating a frame for views across fields and glorious sunsets. The work was put out to tender to about five firms, with husband and wife team Keymer Landscapes, of Barnham, Bognor Regis, who I would also recommend, selected. Barry Chambers' knowledge of plants, and their survival in these conditions, is excellent, as is his ability to explain his choices without pretension. The construction and gardening was hands-on supervised by Barry who regularly returns, post-project, to add plants and check the progress of the garden and its maintenance. “We have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Andy Stedman Design, we could not be happier with the garden he designed and built for us. Andy worked with us to produce the initial design. He very quickly understood our requirements and produced a fabulous design that both met with the constraints of the plot and our exacting needs. We were then further impressed by Andy's post-design planning. He was able to demonstrate to us the process that would take us from the initial design through to completion. It was very professional and gave us complete confidence that he could deliver the garden of our dreams. Andy's landscaping team then carried out the works. Andy remained closely involved in the project on at least a daily basis, and he project managed extremely well. His team were friendly, respectful and polite, and a pleasure to have on site. The garden is complete now and is outstanding and I doubt very much that we would have achieved such an excellent result from another supplier. Andy's attention to detail was outstanding and ensured a quality of delivery that was far above anything we have experienced in the past. “C.A.R. Gardens designed, and built, me a contemporary town garden. Features included bespoke paving, raised planting areas, high-quality lighting scheme, one-off water feature design, audio and privacy considerations. To say the transformation process was a pleasure would be an understatement. Craig and his team were a dream to work with. I still walk into my garden two years on and think "wow"! I never imagined such a relatively small garden could have so much variety. C.A.R. Gardens are a quality outfit who I can recommend without hesitation.”
