“Garden Architecture worked with my wife and I to redesign everything outside the walls of our house. The work included a driveway, walks, two entrances, patio, pond, firepit, retaining walls, stormwater management (two rain gardens and an underground surge tank), site lighting and plantings. I am an architect so brought some of my own ideas to the project, good and bad. Kirsten was a great collaborator and a delight to work with. She is knowledgeable about the technical aspects of the work and a creative designer, for our project doing everything from addressing tricky grading and drainage problems to creating a beautiful environment in which we now happily spend as much time as possible.”

“I have used the services of Miles Barnard of South Fork Studio Landscape Architecture for probably over ten years and multiple projects in different towns. Miles created a private oasis with pool and full landscaping in the rear yard of an historic house that I renovated in Chestertown, MD as well as doing full landscaping design services for a 5 1/2 acre property on Broad Creek in Annapolis, MD. Miles was especially helpful in working with the county government to get me through the extensive permitting process required to build a new house in the Critical Buffer Zone along a body of water in Annapolis. Miles is a total professional with great design skills, knowledge of the industry and ability to get the job done and work with contractors, engineers and architects.”

“Rob and his crew did an excellent job revitalizing our backyard with new sod after a large tree fell in a recent storm and caused extensive damage in our backyard. Rob met with me personally to review what we wanted and turned around a quick estimate that he was able to work with me on based on our budget. Rob's Project Manager, Mike, did a great job of getting all the work done in a day while being sensitive to my wife at home on maternity leave with an infant. Rob talked to me after the sod install was complete to make sure everything was completed to satisfaction and give me sod care and watering instructions. I can say that Lenhoff's Landscaping did a better job that we could have anticipated, and they did a great job of cleaning up afterwards to make it seem like they were never there and we've had a beautiful lawn all along! This was likely a small job for their company, but they certainly made it seem like an important job nonetheless. Thank you!”

“Paula designed a landscaping makeover for our home as well as a patio and surrounding landscaping. The patio is spectacular and is my favorite place to relax. She is wonderful to work with and will remake the plans as many as needed to get exactly what you want. Love, love, love her.”

“SBC landscape is Incredible. Great quality install with great locally made products I recommend SBC for Outdoor Patios and Walkways. I go to a lot of job sites and see what other companies don't do correctly. SBC pays attention to details and they don't cut corners. Most of what counts is under your patio ( base work ) SBC does that very well to keep your pavers looking great year after year.”
