Cathy Wallwork Garden Design

Cathy listened really carefully to my requirements of the garden and we worked together to come up with a design brief. She is an excellent communicator and very organised, which made me feel confident in her end product. The garden design she came up with and her recommendation for landscape contractors to work with have been enormously helpful in pushing our project forward. I'm looking forward to working with her on the next phase as we move to implement the design.

Cathy transformed our garden from an unpromising mud patch into a tranquil and beautiful area, which is a source of constant pleasure. Throughout the design project she was both imaginative and sympathetic to our needs, consulting constantly and making modifications to suit us. Her after-care has been first class, including progress checks, helping to plant bulbs to complete the vision and giving us detailed notes for care. The resulting garden exceeds what we thought possible and we are delighted with everything Cathy has done for us.

Finding Cathy Wallwork was a piece of incredibly good fortune. We had a messy front garden which had been planted with all the wrong things for the situation, and was neglected by us because we had no enthusiasm for it, and I didn't know what to do with it. I felt a strong sense of rapport when we sat down to talk it over, and felt she could get to what we wanted (which was probably hard because we didn't really know what we wanted). She has the ability (which I suppose is essential for a garden designer but I don't have it) to see past what was there and imagine dividing the space up differently. She was willing to re-work the design until we were completely happy, and the result looks better than I could have imagined. It wasn't cheap, but it was well worth it.
