Charlotte Rowe Garden Design

I worked with Charlotte and the team who designed a great walled garden in Chelsea. She has amazing attention to detail and the whole process was very smooth and professionally handled.

Charlotte Rowe and I have worked on a number of projects together - she and the team are great to work with and the results are always stunning.

We have been extremely fortunate to construct gardens for Charlotte for the past 10 years. Her contemporary designs are always very stylish and have given her clients a lot of enjoyment. Her drawings and those of her team are always clear and well detailed which is always so important. We are very grateful to be able to say we have maintained an excellent client/designer and contractor liaison throughout the duration of the projects we have worked together on.

We worked with Charlotte on a project in Barnes, requiring a number of 100% bespoke structures to incorporate lighting and plant climbing grids. The structures were unique and a break away from our standard range of products and Charlotte along with her team showed a thorough understanding of manufacturing and structure design ensuring the supplied products were exactly as required.

Charlotte and her team have created a lovely outdoor area on the two terraces outside our apartment. Although space was limited, they made the best use of it, with custom made planters to fit the rather odd shapes of the terrace and a planting scheme with more variety than we would have thought possible, giving year round foliage. They also organised contractors to install strategically placed outdoor lighting, so that even when we are inside we can still enjoy looking at the garden. Throughout, Charlotte has been most helpful and knowledgeable. Budgets and deadlines were met and she has a good working relationship with the contractors she uses. We never had any doubt that if there had been any problems at any stage she would have been the one to sort them out. She has also maintained an interest in the months since the installation, even making a couple of site visits to see how the planting was looking, and we would certainly recommend her company.

We have a fairly large awkward shaped rear garden which needed a redesign. At the initial meeting Charlotte Rowe saw its potential immediately & has now transformed it into a very beautiful garden we enjoy enormously. The sparse passageway leading to our main garden is now a wonderful journey with gravel & limestone paving, softened by climbers, roses & a clever mix of ground cover planting. The main garden has a spectacular fire pit & atmospheric lighting, creating an amazing place to entertain. We are thrilled the garden won an award from the Society of Garden Design. We can highly recommend Charlotte Rowe & her team; they were a pleasure to work with, efficient & professional from start to finish. Charlotte's creative vision is second to none.

We approached Charlotte Rowe to completely redesign and re-landscape our 1½ acre garden in Somerset. We were looking for someone who would understand what we were looking for and could meet our list of requirements delivering a high quality finish in keeping with our a 17th-century farmhouse and the surrounding land. It was quite a large, complex project with lots of different elements to it including a potager/vegetable garden, an orchard, a pool area and new drive and car parking areas, plus we also had issues with soil contamination – in other words, we needed to be in excellent and experienced hands. Charlotte and her team delivered a thoroughly professional service and communicated with us effectively throughout. She came up with some wonderful ideas which we would never have thought of. We especially love the beautiful gravel garden with grasses, perennials, roses and climbers and are delighted with how the overall design works so well with the surrounding landscape. Her attention to detail was very much appreciated.
