Chasing Arcadia Garden Design

Julianne has designed two areas surrounding our recently refurbished property with great creativity and attention to detail. She has worked closely with us taking on board the existing hard landscaping for two distinctly different areas suggesting ideas for design features and plant combinations which have surpassed all our expectations. The back courtyard garden has become a Japanese themed outdoor living space mostly planted with evergreens including bamboos, pines and conifers for year round interest. The garden at the front is very different, it is designed in an Arts and Crafts style with topiary blocks and hedging. Julianne has carefully chosen and sourced plants including perennials, bulbs and grasses for their seasonal highlights to create the slightly wild look we wanted. The concept design that Julianne produced not only followed my brief and actually exceeded it with adding more innovative and creative ideas that created exactly the garden I was trying to achieve.
