“Our garden used to be a serious of fenced horse fields with little character. We wanted to transform the garden into a series of destinations that we could use for entertaining, playing sport, growing fruit and veg by converting different fields into different zones, some informal or functional and those closer to the house more formal and heavily planted. Lucy designed a coherent structure for the whole of our garden, creating a series of destinations for all the various functions we wanted. Now the garden has matured one year on, it is alive with colour, texture and wildlife. We love hosting friends and eating outside in the spaces she has created. Despite all the planting it is relatively low maintenance, but through consistent use of materials throughout the plot, the old separated horse fields now all feel like one coherent, mature garden. It's been a great transformation and West Midlands landscapers were first rate in delivering quality build for our patios, paths, driveway, planters, poly tunnel, pond etc.”

“After my initial meeting with Sam, he went away with just a list of plants I like and a request that the garden wouldn't take years to look established. From the moment the planting was completed I had a stunning english garden brimming with plants, trees and shrubs in the most beautiful tranquil colour palette. I have a bloom calendar detailing all the plants and what I can expect to see through the seasons. Sam visits every few weeks as part of his maintenance service and maticulously tends the garden, weeding, cutting back and manicuring the shrubs to keep everything looking it's absolute best. Sam is a talented designer and comes highly recommended.”
