We hired Lisa at Fuchsia Green, having seen one of her gardens, a tiny courtyard. This is what we liked about her: 1. Great listener: Lisa took the time to find out who we are, how we live and garden and what we like (and hate). 2. Contemporary designer. we like strong, simple lines and shapes - and so does Lisa 3. Knowledgable plantswoman: she introduced us to prairie style planting alongside mediterannean and tropical favourites. 4. Low maintenance expert: our "before" garden was too much for us, but Lisa's made us a space that is easier to look after. 5. Budget conscious: Lisa understood that we were on a budget and came up with ideas to keep costs down. 6. Beautiful computer generated visuals: these enabled us to "walk round" the proposed garden and understand what we would be getting. 7. Knows the best landscapers: Lisa handled the tendering process and hired an experienced landscaper (who has built three Chelsea show gardens!). This saved money compared to finding a contractor ourselves. 8. Knows the best nurseries: Lisa went out and about to choose the very best plants available. 9. Really flexible: Although Lisa was our dream designer, we were not dream clients! She was very patient with all our questions, worries and changes of mind. 10. Great result: we love, love, love our new garden and can't wait to see it grow and develop.

Today I had an initial consultation with Lisa, having found her through an online search. She was so good I'm writing a review already! I have a clear idea of what I want for my garden but feel very lacking in expertise. Lisa gave me loads of really helpful suggestions. She can see the potential of what's already here, and whereas I was feeling overwhelmed and depressed by not knowing where to start, she's enabled me to see how to proceed. She's left me feeling uplifted, inspired, confident, and with the peace of mind of knowing I've found the right person to help me create my garden.

We are beyond delighted with our garden - Lisa took our sketchy ideas and turned our garden into exactly what we were looking for. She is a good collaborator, working with us on the plan and offers good advice. From design stage through to collaborating on landscaping and her lovely planting scheme, Lisa has been a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend her work.

I had some ideas about how I wanted to redesign an area of my garden but found Lisa’s help invaluable in confirming what I wanted and she also helped me be braver in removing some existing planting and suggesting some new ideas. Lisa is very easy to work with and really listens to what you want. I’m very happy with the results and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.

Lisa is amazing! It's been a pleasure working with her from start to finish, and I'm delighted with the end result. My previous garden was a blank canvas that needed a huge amount of TLC, and it's been utterly transformed. Mine is the 'contemporary garden' in her portfolio Firstly Lisa's got some excellent ideas, and produces some excellent 3d mockups that bring it all to life and really help you nail down the design. A big part of Lisa's skill here is her amazing knowledge of materials, she really brings some great suggestions to the table. As well as coming up with great ideas, she listens, tweaks and refines until you're really happy and excited with the plan. This is where her 3d design skills really help as she rapidly iterates and plays with different suggestions that you can visualise! Lisa's contractor suggestion was spot on, they were excellent and make the whole process a pleasure. Clearly a great team that works really well together. Lisa would regularly check in, everyone was happy to tweak and refine as we went along which made the end result even better and navigated any hurdles without stress. Finally, Lisa really knows her stuff re: planting. I'm delighted by the plants she chose and planted, she really knows how to create the vibe we were looking for. As someone who had no idea myself, this was very valuable. I've had lots of people to visit since who are great gardeners, and the comment from all is 'wow your designer knows her stuff!' Highly recommended!

Garden redesign - Lisa worked with the information gathered by viewing our spaces and discussing wishes to come up with a planting design that would work for our coastal garden that was practical, beautiful and that would cope with two inquisitive dogs. We received the plan, quote and schedule as promised and work commenced on time and was completed expertly. It was a pleasure to have Lisa and her team here and we are over the moon with the result.

The company and Lisa in particular designed our garden, helped to oversee construction , did a Planting scheme and then did the planting. Lisa listened very closely to our ideas and used them in the design. The design was imaginative but also practical . Lisa was available to all times to deal with queries and was very responsive and efficient. We have ended up with a beautiful and distinctive garden which meets are needs perfectly.

Lisa designed my small garden in Whitstable and took care of everything from design to project management. The whole process was smooth and she had lots of good ideas. Her choice of contractor was also very good. She's great to work with and is always on hand for any questions. I would highly recommend her.

Fuchsia Green provided an excellent garden design, landscaping and planting service for our modern new build house. Lisa provided an original and interesting design plan, after consulting and listening to our ideas and thoughts. She managed the project from start to finish, ensuring problems and snags along the way were dealt with efficiently and also provided us with advice and assistance with planning permissions and dealing with third parties. Flexibility, creativity and an easy approach made working with Lisa an enjoyable experience. We now have a garden that very much resembles the agreed design, being completed on time and within budget and we would highly recommend Fuschia Green to others interested in these services.

I moved to Whitstable four years ago and have a lovely Victorian house but the garden was awful . It was a tiny courtyard garden and all it did was attract rubbish and junk . Lisa took time to listen to our dream for the garden and to look through my idea board on Pinterest . What she came up with in design was fantastic . But it didn't stop there she employed Phil and his team of landscapers and in horrible conditions they turned a drab space into a beautiful , tranquil space with stacks of room for entertaining . Lisa finished it off with her vision for plants and planting and It's now one of my favourite places .

I recently moved to Broadstairs and I'm so pleased to have discovered Fuchsia Green. Lisa, together with her team, have completely transformed my boring garden into a perfect area for me to now entertain friends along with their dogs. I opted for an artificial lawn and can now look forward to not having muddy paws indoors! From start to finish the project was managed efficiently and I was consulted at every stage. Im now looking forward to seeing the plants grow and enjoy my wonderful garden. I would not hesitate to recommend Lisa.
