Mel at Gardenplan oversaw our project from initial design, through to selecting the landscaping contractor, creating the planting plan and organising infrastructure items. We are delighted with the results. We would highly recommend Mel to others.

We began discussions with Mel on the big changes needed in our garden in the winter, from the start she was very enthusiastic which was encouraging as the garden had completely changed purpose. We’d filled in the pool and now required an outdoor social space which could be used into the evening. Mel was professional, punctual and approachable. She made some suggestions, listened to our thoughts and produced a fantastic plan. Her knowledge of plants and what would work best for our space was brilliant. We are now enjoying the space, it’s perfect. Thank you Mel.

It is a pleasure working with Mel and her company. She listened to our thoughts and ideas for redevelopment of a large patio area to the rear of our house. The plot is north-east facing so not straightforward to design for. Mel provided us with technical drawings of the plan, which included everything we had wanted. For areas that we did not have ideas for, she provided excellent solutions. Her work is prompt and meticulous, she is a joy to work with, and we were very pleased with the final result. We have no hesitation in recommending Mel, and we are currently working with her on a second phase of our garden project.

Mel did a fantastic job designing our new rear terrace. We had some basic ideas but she developed them into something incredible, manageable, usable and beautiful. She introduced a number of design features which really made the whole thing come together and blended the different areas together. I would have no hesitation in recommending her to others.

Mel at Gardenplan designed both our new back garden which we love and our new driveway which is both stylish and practical. From start to finish on the project Mel took the brief and converted that into a stunning design which works wonderfully for us as a family.

The designer, landscaper and planters all worked well together. I love my new garden and I now use all the spaces at different times of the day. After using GardenPlan Design for our courtyard garden, we were so impressed we've been back twice for other projects. Every time we have been surprised and delighted with the results. Now we just need to find more areas we can transform!

We used Melanie for our garden landscape design which was helpful in the way that she was thinking outside the box as we had plans drawn up by another professional which was not to our liking. Melanie came across as very knowledgable, was a good listener and was patient with us as we had difficulties to make some decisions. We would highly recommend her to other people.

We had a very small, sloping, tired garden in need of re-landscaping and inspiration. Mel from Garden Plan Design spent time with us finding out our likes and dislikes and what would work within the space. The plan Mel produced was beyond our expectations, incorporating raised flower beds, water features and decked and paved areas.
