Dear visitor- thank you for visiting my profile! I have been growing plants for over 40 years and have been practicing professionally for over 20 years. In this time I have developed a wide knowledge of how to design, build and maintain a garden and its plants in a horticulturally correct way. From having worked on gardens for so many years I have developed the knowledge base of how to really know how each type of plant will respond across space and time, to build you a garden that will evolve with you.
This is how my service works: I will arrange with you to visit you in your garden free of charge to discuss with you what you want from your garden, how you would like to transform it, and how you would like to use it. I will share ideas and information with you about what is possible and how to go about achieving it, and I will recommend to you how we should proceed, based on a regular visit.
You will benefit from my 45 years of growing plants, and 20-plus years working in gardens, designing, developing, and maintaining them. This I have always done with art and science. I am also a firm believer in continuous learning, so I am always soaking up new knowledge and experience to feed my skills. Please note, this is a *high level* service. This, in itself, creates higher overheads for the business, but from your point of view you will be benefiting from a truly experienced, skilled, and knowledgeable horticulturist, with potential to create the garden that you dream of. I believe you will see the passion I have for my subject when you meet me. This work is charged for at an hourly rate of £30.
Most schedules are based on a fortnightly visit, throughout 47 weeks of the year. During this time I will maintain and develop your garden. How I work with you is flexible. For example, you many want to mow your lawns yourself, or employ another gardener just to do that or perhaps some other basic tasks such as weeding, leaving the rest to me.
If what you need falls outside of horticulture and requires construction, I also have trusted contacts and through these can accomplish most things for you in your garden
