Helene Garden Design are an absolute pleasure to work. Helene really listened to our ‘huge remit’ but we also gave her the opportunity to offer her own perspective of what would suit our very challenging landscape aspects! She had a substantial sized blank canvas to work with which offered many exciting ideas that we could consider. Attention to detail / knowledge are all to Helene’s credit and we have had many compliments since the landscaping work was completed in late Spring 2023. Helene is lovely to work with and produced a beautiful design for our garden. Our project was for a back garden with a large steep slope that needed a retaining wall. The wall was our main challenge as we needed a solution that wasn’t one 6ft block but also didn’t take up too much space in the garden. Helene provided a design with staggered sections of wall using different materials and lots of areas for planting that worked really well together and we never would’ve thought of ourselves. She also created some lovely areas in the rest of the garden, in what we previously thought of as dead space. Helene was super clear on the process and pricing upfront, flexible during the project, and generally very helpful.

Used Helenes design expertise to completely transform our garden into a multifunctional, tropical contemporary living space, including outdoor bar and kitchen. The design and build has given us a completely stunning and unique garden incorporating all of the aspects we had briefed as our requirements. Certainly a space we will be using to its full extent throughout the year, and also looks stunning at night with the lighting plan and the bespoke water feature specified by Helene. Helene worked closely with us to understand our brief and delivered a fabulous design which we are so happy with

Helene is a wonderful garden designer. Form the moment she walked into my home I felt an instant connection with her. She has been able to understand the look I wanted and most importantly the feel of the garden I was looking for. It was an absolute joy working with Helene. From the moment we were in touch Helene was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Helene provided a consultancy service to help me continue and complete my garden. When I gave her an idea of what I was trying to achieve and where I'd gotten to so far she gave me an incredible list of suggestion and lots of wonderful advice, walking around my garden with me giving me lots of handy tips and hints on looking after it. When I met Helene I was impressed by her professionalism, friendliness, and willingness to offer ideas ever before I offered her the job. Helene was very easy to talk with, listened to my requests, and offered alternatives including pros and con. She took my ideas further than I had and tick all the boxes. Helene and I recently worked on a rear garden landscaping project in Aldenham that she had designed for her client and I was instructed by Helene and her client to carry out the installation. I found Helene to be very proffessional with frequent visits to site to check that everything was progressing nicely without any issues, when I had any queries she's was also always available at the end of the phone. The design was a beautiful modern garden design and we had no problems with installing the garden from the plans/drawings that where provided. Her knowledge of different materials and how they work together is really good and she has some wonderful ideas the pathway on this project is one that I haven't seen before and I have been a landscaper for over 25 years. I would have no hesitation in recommending Helene Garden Design for other projects and very much look forward to working together again on other future landscaping projects.

Helene has created a beautiful gravel and boulder space with ferns, succulents and grasses. I asked her to replace the tired old hedge in a very narrow and unpromising site at the front of my house. Helene immediately understood what I was looking for and provided very professional designs and mood boards so that we could discuss the final plan and planting. She was always courteous and polite, fun to work with, and kept me informed of progress. I am very pleased with the result.

Helene saw potential in what was a mud patch and transformed it into an amazing garden! We wanted something that was beautiful yet low maintenance. Helene delivered that and more - it’s a joy to see what will come up with each new season!

I am delighted with the transformation of our garden. Helene delivered a beautifully drawn plan of our garden and she understood what I wanted from the start and interperated my ideas perfectly. She has cleverly designed the garden with perennials that give us all year round interest. After only 1 year the garden is already looking phenomenal. Helene created a design for our garden last year whilst we had major building works done. Our garden had been completely decimated. She knew I wanted something beautiful that was easy to manage and not too costly. She has been endlessly patient and understanding. We have just put in the first bed including four pleached trees. Knowledgeable, engaging, really tries to understand her clients. Helene has done a great job designing and implementing a large, traditional border and shrubbery, advising on garden planning, planting and how a garden might grow in the long term. This is an ongoing relationship so project length and cost are indicative. Top marks. Highly recommended.
