Jonathan Snow Design

We love to create inviting outdoor spaces that people want to spend time in, in the countryside or in town. We specialise in working with discerning clients with an interest in investing in their garden for the long term, and an appreciation for aesthetics, quality of finish, and beautiful planting throughout the year. We enjoy collaborating with architects and interior designers, and teaming up with skilled garden builders and the best tree and plant nurseries in the country, and we work with gardeners to ensure that each garden that we design matures and reaches its full potential over the coming years. Jonathan has over 15 years’ experience of designing gardens. A graduate of The Inchbald School of Design, he worked for Arne Maynard, and then Tom Stuart-Smith, before setting up his own practice. He has exhibited on Main Avenue at the Chelsea Flower Show three times, most recently picking up a much coveted Gold Medal, and the award for Best Construction, for his Himalayan garden, in 2021. As evidenced by his gardens at Chelsea, a passion for botany, and studying how plants grow in the wild all over the world underpins much of his planting design. Jonathan is a member of the International Dendrology Society, a pre-registered member of the Society of Garden Designers, and a regular speaker at Inchbald.
