Laura completely transformed our hilly side garden which was difficult to maintain . It had been made a complete mess as the lawn had been dug up in order to pipe away water from an underground stream which was flooding the garage. She produced a lovely design and recommended plants which would flourish in a shady area. The contractors she brought in did an excellent job. I cannot thank her enough . Margaret Palmer

A great job and a very happy experience from start to finish - I couldn't recommend Laura and the teams she works with more highly. From the initial planning to the completion of work, Laura worked with us to make sure we got what we wanted. Her recommended contractors were great - we were particularly impressed with Callum (and Andrew and Billy) from Traquair Paving who were always looking for better ways to do things (rather than taking shortcuts) - they took a real care and pride in their work and had a great customer service focus which is sadly lacking a lot of the time these days. Because we are in a terrace, all materials hade to be brought through the house and a lot of care was taken to prevent damage and dirt. Thanks also to Peter who was always flexible and responsive and made sure we were happy at every step.

Laura redesigned my back garden (west end basement flat). It looks great. Very professional and a strong network of contractors for the various bits work the were needed over the design and planting. Pleasure to work with.

A huge thank you to Laura & her team for recreating our garden, even now in deepest winter it is a joy to look at and wander round. Fhionn and Findlay went beyond the call keeping going in some foul weather, you and Mark even planted out most of the garden in the rain and wind. Paul the tree surgeon and Mark his colleague did a great job as well. Indeed it was a pleasure to have each and every one of you here, even the chat was good! From the first consultation we were impressed with your advice, design and plant knowledge and the results speak for themselves. I live in a three storey Victorian terraced house. I asked Laura McKie to design a new front garden so as to make it simpler and less labour intensive. She understood straightaway what was required. The design that she produced and her supervision of the project were quite excellent. It was a pleasure to work with her and my wife and I are delighted with the result. I cannot recommend her too highly.

We engaged Laura to provide a plan for a complete makeover of our garden which consists of three areas at the front, side and rear of our detached bungalow. Laura set up an initial meeting where she discussed what effect we were looking for.. She then came back with several ideas of her own to incorporate into our initial thoughts and came up with a final design and a very accurate costing. Throughout the process, her communication was excellent and her flexibility such that it was always simple to make any tweaks in the initial design. She oversaw all the work with frequent on-site visits and consultations as the work progressed. The contractors she engaged to carry out the work were all conscientious and efficient and produced a first class job with which we are very pleased. We would have no hesitation in recommending Laura and the tradespeople she uses to anyone.
