Sarah, Dave and all of the Mary Mary Team were simply fantastic from start to finish! Having had gardens landscaped before, this was just such a different experience from the get go- the design was extremely well considered and exactly what we'd imagined (but couldn't articulate without the benefit of their help and years of experience), the cost estimate was spot on (so no surprises, which was pretty much a first with for any of the building projects we've done), the work was planned and communicated to make it painless, and the team was extremely knowledgeable, highly skilled and conscientious (it's very easy to have a falling out with neighbours when reinstating boundaries, delivering materials, managing skips etc but they dealt with any raised eyebrows in a friendly and collaborative way). It's obvious if you work with Mary Mary that they take genuine pride in their gardens and it's a passion for them- we couldn't be any happier!

I can highly recommend the team at Mary Mary Creates Ltd from the site survey , design stage , right through to the construction, electrics, lighting and planting and aftercare. My specific design requirements for my garden were quite niche, and they spent time and detail in getting every aspect just right. I particularly wanted a planting scheme that was non toxic to my pets , with a safe space where they couldn't escape the garden and were protected. The team had an amazing choice of plants that suited the modernist jungle theme i wanted and also with minimal maintenance. They had inspiring ideas of how else i might use the space to entertain and blend the garden into the house for dining. Contemporary lines and choice of Chelsea inspired hard landscaping materials such as CDEC self binding gravel and Steel Corten steel planters, were all softened by sympathetic planting of ferns , hostas and lush tropical planting. The process was quite stress free, as the team were all professional , knowledgeable and reliable. They were limited in terms of access to my property but managed to coordinate skips , excavation and deliveries and parking without fuss to my neighbours - which was fantastic. I felt relaxed to talk to the team , to ask questions and any concerns, as we went through the process. The team were also quick to come up with solutions to last minute ideas on steps etc which i felt is a testament to their experience and creativity. What i thought was a special touch was the effort they did to do some finishing touches on the last day, doing some in fills in the patio joins (i didn't spot), and some extra buffing to make the patio area sparkle. The garden was completely renovated and i can honestly say i love my garden and cant wait to grow with it. Thankyou to the team !!!

We used Mary Creates for our garden design and hard landscaping. We were very apprehensive but wanted to maximise our small space with a limited budget. Sarah and David listened to everything in our brief, and managed to fit all of our requests in our small garden. The plant list was extensive and so thoughtful. Fast forward to the hard landscaping and the team were thorough, skilled, knowledgeable and so tidy (despite the mud!). We’ve had landscaping before but the workmanship in the raised beds, path and planting is unmatched in quality. They stuck to budget and we even came in slightly under. We won’t hesitate to use them again!

Sarah, Dave and the rest of the Mary Mary team designed and installed a rear garden for me in a new build house. What a lovely, cheerful group of people - they all worked extremely hard, organised everything and left no mess. Mary Mary Creates Gardens Ltd have to be one of the most wonderful companies to deal with and from our first meeting on site we just knew we were in safe and special hands. Their garden and landscape design service is simply superb and they combine all of your brief and then go to town to make it as great as possible with flair, creativity and a sheer love of nature bursting through. The hard landscaping and joinery skills are second to none and mix superbly with their ability to choose planting arrangements that leave you feeling like you have stepped into a gold medal winning Chelsea Flower Show garden. Friendly, approachable, efficient, on time - just everything you could wish for really and now all that is left is to thoroughly enjoy the fruits of the team's labour over the coming years watching it all evolve as the seasons pass and marvel at how it all became possible through their passion.

We are absolutely thrilled with our new garden that the Mary Mary team have created for us. They worked with our budget to come up with a scheme that incorporated our ideas and created a garden truly unique to us. A friend of mine recommended Mary Mary Creates Gardens to me. As I do not live in the area that the company works, we met on Zoom for a meeting to talk about ways that I could improve my garden. I sent a video and photos of my garden beforehand and Sarah had clearly looked at them and was familiar with my garden. The meeting was not only helpful for me but also really inspirational. Sarah was absolutely lovely to talk to - friendly, passionate about gardens and reassuring about what was already in my garden. I am not a very confident gardener and the way that Sarah talked about plants - turning them into 'little humans' (ASBO's and all:-) - enabled me for the first time ever, to retain information about plants and to have a much better understanding of how plants work. I felt that I learnt more in the 90 minutes of our meeting about gardening than I have throughout my life!! Sarah made lots of brilliant suggestions of ways that I could improve my garden (based on what I'd told her about what I'd like/want, and what I don't like/want). She has a wealth of knowledge about plants and gave me advice on my current plants with suggestions of what to change/move/buy as well as of possible plants to buy to achieve the look I want. She was also able to give me suggestions of achieving a 'natural' look in my front garden, in a cheaper way. All of her ideas were realistic for me as a novice gardener and things that I could do myself. After the meeting, Sarah sent through detailed notes of everything we had talked about which have loads of useful information. I would thoroughly recommend Sarah and the company to anyone - even if they live outside the area, if you are thinking of changing your garden look but unsure how to - or just want some inspiration and advice. The Mary Mary team were fantastic from beginning to end. We always felt in very safe hands. They designed a garden that met our needs and looks beautiful. It has been completely transformed and we are thrilled with the end result. We can't wait to watch it mature. The process from consultation to implementation was painless and we felt supported throughout all the decision making. As less than green-fingered people, they made the daunting task of completely redoing the garden a lot less scary! We would more than recommend their services and should we move in the future, getting the Mary Mary team to do the garden would be first on our list!

Mary Mary Creates have just finished our garden project and we are so happy with it. They have built a patio, created several large beds, planted these up and planted 5 trees and also built a pergola, small fence and gate. We live in rural area in an old building and wanted something that would suit the setting and the house, which they have certainly achieved. From the first meeting with Sarah, they have been a joy to deal with and their communication has been great; from thinking of ideas, suggesting trees and plants, recommending particular patio slabs, formulating a design and plan and finally making it all happen and keeping us up to date and on-track all the way through, especially during the lockdown when some things such as delivery dates were a bit more "unpredictable". The team are all so lovely, and really nice to have around, they are all passionate about plants and gardens, and the quality of work has been very high. We are really looking forward to seeing our garden grow over the summer and it has been amazing to see the transformation. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and hope to have them back again when we are ready to do the next part of our garden.

We really can't thank Dave, Sarah and all of the Mary Mary team enough, they listened to what we wanted (and what we didn't want) and came up with a fantastic garden design that captured everything we dreamed of. The installation wasn't straight forward due to the outbreak of Covid 19 and restrictions that became apparent, but they battled through adapting their working practices to suit the government guidelines and the result was truly special. We love our new garden, it is like another room for the house and we are still finding specimens popping up that we didn't know they had planted !! The lovely team at Mary Mary has transformed a blank canvas into a beautiful garden we are over the moon with. We wanted a tropical feel – to step out the back door and feel we’ve been transported to another land – and we’re confident that once the planting has had the chance to become established, that’s exactly what we’re going to get. At every stage from the planning through to the planting, the team was professional, communicative and very friendly. It was great to have one team with so many areas of expertise so there was no need to go to different tradespeople. We have a beautiful new path, decking, planting, a water feature and even a swing! Everyone was very respectful of our property, tidying up daily and cleaning thoroughly before they left for the final time. Additionally, our work was carried out during a national lockdown due to Covid but by hiring a portaloo and bringing their own flasks, we couldn’t have felt safer.

Sarah and the team have done a fantastic job on our garden. They really took the time to find out our style, and the flowers and shrubs we wanted to keep, but have also injected some real creative flair into our garden. The team were a pleasure to have on site, always friendly and very hard-working (even in freezing conditions!). Thank you so much Mary Mary we now have a garden we love, and we can't wait to see how it grows and matures in the years to come.

Having paid close attention to our thoughts and ideas during the initial consultation and design stages, Sarah came up with a terrific scheme for the garden which - with a few minor tweaks and amendments - not only fully met our initial 'wish list' and took full advantage of the garden's situation and surroundings, but also beautifully complements the house and its town centre location. Working in quite difficult conditions - constrained and limited access and parking, and in typical mid-December weather - Sarah, Dave and the team worked really well over two weeks to completely transform the garden from its long-neglected and overgrown state into a stunning and welcoming haven with three separate 'rooms', each with its own distinct but linked planting schemes. The work was completed on time and in budget, including some bespoke benches/tables designed to provide maximum work/display/storage space with minimum footprint. All in all we are completely delighted with the results, and are very happy to recommend Mary Mary Creates Gardens.

The Mary Mary team landscaped my garden in Spring 2017. We discussed my wish list and they produced a plan which completely met my ideas. The work was carried out on time, with no fuss, and even came in under budget. In fact, the process was a total pleasure and I loved seeing my garden transformed each day. In other words, we wanted the garden to entice us into it rather than do the opposite! Sarah (owner) and her team did precisely what we wanted and more. The Mary Mary team transformed my dull and unloved garden on a difficult site into a magical space. Several magical spaces They made access easier and I now spend as much time as possible in one or other of my hidden retreats. The buildings are fun and the planting a constant source of interest.
