Pippa Schofield Garden Design

Pippa is extremely easy to work with and very good at communicating how ideas can be converted into reality. I wanted to inject some new life into my neglected front garden, combining the old (I'm in a conservation area) with something more contemporary. The use of the limestone along with the clay pavers, which matched the brickwork beautifully, as well as the new planting, brought the garden back to life as well as creating a usable space to enjoy the morning sunshine. We worked with Pippa to design our front and back gardens at our house in Shepherd's Bush, and we loved working with her and her ability to create gardens with real style and elegance. She did a wonderful job and we see the fruits of her vast knowledge and experience when we look out at our gardens everyday. We have recently completed a total garden make over for a customer in Suffolk where the garden was designed by Pippa. The design was smashing for the location and size of the area's we had to work with. Pippa left nothing out which as a landscape company obviously made our job so much easier to do. From the initial planning stages with the client through to job completion, everything just worked. As from a bosses point of view , quoting for such a large with Pippa's detailed plan, schedule of works , materials and design it really did make for easy pricing. Pippa was an absolute delight to work with. She was full of very useful ideas on what we could do with our existing garden without any major changes during our first meeting. This gave us the confidence to proceed with her ideas and plans. Her understanding of what will work in West London gardens made the planting much easier. In addition, the team she recommended for the groundwork were first class. Overall, we’ve had an excellent experience working with Pippa and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this very talented garden designer. Pippa did a great job with our garden. She took on board the views from two different people with slightly different and sometime conflicting ideas and was able to create a marvellous and successful compromise. And now after two years we are still very happy with the results and actual evolution of the original design (which is still very much in place). Pippa is well organised and the planning and attention to detail made the process work very well. Work people arrived on time and they did a great job.

Pip did a superb design for my front and back gardens in Suffolk. She listened carefully to my initial thoughts and then asked lots of questions to thoroughly explore my vision and requirements. She was then able to offer a variety of ideas culminating in the final design which was everything I wanted and a lot of other things that I had even thought about! She liaised carefully with the landscapers who were doing the work and kept a close eye on progress, offering additional advice when a few changes needed to be made. She was then instrumental in planning, choosing and sourcing the planting. I would not hesitate to recommend Pip because she offered a professional service but most of all listened to to me as her client and used her expertise to create a wonderful garden that will give me a great deal of enjoyment in the future.

She immediately grasped what our garden needed to turn it into the space we were looking for and came up with plans to exactly met our criteria. Pippa is both knowledgeable and personable which made her a pleasure to deal with. Our garden is now the oasis we were desired and we have a plan in place to keep it looking in tip top condition. Pippa reimagined our garden magnificently, it was looking tired and boring and we didn’t know what to do with it. Pippa used sketches and visualisation to show us what she was creating and walked us through every step of the process. She has a great personal touch and is a delight to deal with. As non green fingered customers this made our lives much easier. We can’t recommend her highly enough.

Pippa was always punctual, efficient, friendly and very easy to work with. She grasped our brief immediately and was quick to draw up a proposal incorporating her own ideas for best use of space, easy upkeep, and privacy of the garden. She organised all aspects of the job and coordinated very well with our builders where small construction was needed. Pippa was always contactable and very responsive to any questions we had during and after the project. All very reasonably priced. Pippa did an amazing job and we couldn't be happier with the outcome.

Pippa’s design transformed our rectangular patch of green into a wonderful garden featuring circular lawns , bright outdoor living area surrounded by beautiful trees plants and shrubs. We have recommended her to several friends.

I initially consulted Pippa before I started a building project (side return) as I knew the neglected garden would be in full view once the works were complete. She gave me helpful guidance for the patio that was being constructed as part of the initial build. Once works were finished Pippa came back to re-design the garden borders, landscaping, level and re-turf the lawn and do a new planting plan for our small-ish West London garden. She was always mindful of our budget, and offered some really good tips that I think have helped transform the garden with this in mind, for example disguising our old fences by painting them a uniform grey colour. Pippa always listened to my ideas, and combined them with her expertise and planting suggestions, skilfully re-using my existing plants and replanting in better locations for example, and pruning a rather unattractive bay tree into something that looks really quite nice! We are absolutely thrilled with the result - it has completely transformed the outlook from the back of the house. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pippa and her team.
