About Us

Alex attended KLC to study for a Diploma in Garden Design in 2011 having previously worked in the advertising industry for 10 years. She has since worked on residential projects around Brighton and West Sussex. Landscaping 11 acres in Cuckfield, to designing small urban gardens in Brighton and Haywards Heath. Her passion is for plants and creating unique outside spaces to sit and enjoy nature. She runs a gardening club for the children at the local school and is also on the grounds committee helping maintain and improve the School's 6 acres. A keen cook, she loves growing her own fruit, vegetables and herbs or scouring the countryside for edible treats.

Really helpful with a large long term project. Alex understood where I was coming from and met the brief brilliantly with a great plan, and supported the ideas for painting with regard to accessibility, views, maintenance, and function. Very very pleased.

Alex was brilliant! She listened to what I exactly wanted in my garden and was so knowledgable and helpful from start to finish. I had most of the work done late 2018 to spring 2019 - All of the plants are starting to establish and I can’t wait to see them bloom this year.

Alex understood our brief completely and executed it with ease. She had some really practical ideas for problem areas in our garden ranging from privacy, lawn drainage, edging to make mowing easier and lighting. She thought of everything.

Alex designed and managed the build for my front and back gardens. She really listened to the type of things I liked and I felt that she really understood what I wanted to do with the spaces. Naturally, she had way more knowledge and experience that I did which she used to suggest some fantastic ideas that I would not have thought of. She also lined up some great landscapers that she’d worked with previously who were great. Alex was always prompt with her responses and was on site every day to oversee the build process and deal with any tweaks that needed to be made. I couldn’t recommend Alex enough and when I move, I’ll use her again!

Alex designed a beautiful modern garden for us a few years ago. We were impressed with her style - she always pushes the design to be more "creative" rather than "safe" and we are so pleased with the results. She has a fantastic knowledge of planting and a good eye for colour and shapes.

Alex is working with us to create a special 1 acre garden that started life as a barn yard. She is excellent at understanding what you need, full of creative and interesting ideas and her calm approach hides a pretty steely determination and drive to execute her plans to perfection, on time and within budget. I can't recommend her highly enough.

Alex has an amazing eye for garden design. Her knowledge of what will work in different areas of the garden has been invaluable. The drawings are clear and give you a great idea of how it will look when its all finished. Our garden is really taking shape and I can not recommend her highly enough.
