PRACTICE We are a garden & landscape design practice based in Bristol but we also undertake work throughout the UK and abroad. Feel free to get in touch to discuss any projects you have in mind. Fascinated by the relationship between people and the natural world, we are passionate about breaking down the growing divide between the two by creating innovative and dynamic approaches to garden and landscape design. Biodiversity and ecology are at the heart of our work, from contemporary urban spaces, public and private, to more traditional gardens and estates. BIOGRAPHY Steve is an award winning designer and comes from a highly creative background with a degree in photographic art from the University of Wales Newport. He retrained in horticulture at Broomfield Hall in Derbyshire soon after and has brought the ideas and concepts he explored in his artwork through to his design practice. As well as running his own design practice he is also part of the pioneering design team at London Glades along side Jonathan Davies London Glades specilaise in nature connection in urban spaces from landscape & garden design to art installations, talks & Seminars. Steve has several years experience in many areas of the industry, running a successful garden maintenance business and progressing to full scale design and builds. Paired with his creative background, this experience is invaluable and gives Steve a unique perspective of what’s going to work functionally for the space as well as the client. Steve graduated from the Cotswold Gardening School in 2017, where he received the top student award and a commendation from head of school, Caroline Tatham. He continues to be a part of the school as a lecturer, focusing on the creative process, 3D visuals and ecological design. In 2017 Steve was shortlisted for both the residential and commercial student design categories of the prestigious SGD Awards. He has been involved in several RHS shows, most notably two gold medal winning gardens: one at Harrogate flower show in 2013 and the other at Hampton Court in 2017.
