Studio Circ

Studio Circ, directed by Marcus Fisher, is an inventive + imaginative Garden Design practice located in Hackney, East London.Marcus is a graduate (distinction) from the Master of Landscape Architecture programme (Manchester School of Architecture). He previously studied Surveying at Leeds Metropolitan University. Between 2015-2019 Marcus was a designer in a multi award winning Garden Design + Landscape practice in the north west of England ( https://www.barneswalker.co.uk/), previously having worked as a landscape contractor for two years. Marcus has also gained a wide range of experience employed in two award winning Landscape Architecture + Urban design practices, focussing on masterplanning and public realm projects. Since starting the practice in 2019 Studio Circ has participated in a number of design competitions to establish the practice profile and has completed a number of garden designs in Cheshire, one of which subsequently was shortlisted for the Northern Design Awards. The Practice is currently developing two large scale private garden design projects in North Lancashire. Our philosophy reflects a realisation of the need to “design with necessity” and in the process to create individual and bespoke garden spaces. This holistic approach to design, utilising the experience of the director and is supported by consultants specialising in planting design, sustainability and resilience.
