We would like to address your concerns regarding the tree planting project. Initially, we supplied and planted a total of 11 trees as part of your project. Regrettably, it appears that three of these trees did not thrive as expected. We would like to clarify that Wiles Gardens extends a 90-day establishment guarantee on all the plants we supply, which is a fundamental component of our terms and conditions, provided to clients before commencing any work. However, it is important to note that certain factors, such as unseasonable weather conditions, are beyond our control. In this regard, it is important for clients to recognise their role in the establishment of plants, including proper watering, especially if they opt not to take advantage of an aftercare package.

In your specific case, we were informed about the distress of three trees, well beyond the 90-day guarantee period. Nevertheless, we took swift action and sent the owner to conduct a site visit within an hour of receiving your notification. Subsequent discussions were positive, and at your request, we agreed to replace the trees at cost, even though it was outside the warranty period, in order to ensure your satisfaction as our valued client.

It came as a surprise to us when we received your review, as we had received a phone call from you just two days after reaching this agreement. During that call, you informed us of your decision to source the replacements externally and expressed your willingness to conclude the matter amicably.

In summary, we want to emphasize that Wiles Gardens does indeed offer a 90-day establishment guarantee, and we are committed to working with our clients to reach fair and reasonable compromises that prioritize customer satisfaction.
