“WD helped to make our backyard built-in grill and double firepit a reality. The guys on-site kept things clean, moving forward, and were always so pleasant to be around. They set the bar high in terms of standards and were adaptable as we added on / changed parts of the scope of work. Highly recommend.”

“Perennial Landscape Corporation is one of the finest landscapers in New England. The project manager’s aesthetic sense, design experience, and knowledge of plants transformed our property into a beautiful woodland garden. We wanted a natural, woodsy, but elegant, look to our yard, with accents of flowering trees and shrubs. The Perennial team fulfilled our every landscaping request. Their meticulous maintenance of their work keeps our property looking wonderful year after year.”

“We live in a sideways house that was in dire need of curb appeal and better drainage, and Oliver Enterprises had recently done a beautiful job of hardscaping and landscaping a house across the street. (They had put in a stone front porch, front walk and retaining wall, as well as a pop-up sprinkler system, sod and foundation plantings.) They replaced our old brick front porch with a beautiful New England field stone porch with a wrought iron railing and granite landing/treads. They replaced our crumbling flagstone front walk with meandering concrete, which they hand embedded with small stones. They also regraded the slope to our house and redirected the downspouts to a pop-up further out in the yard to improve the drainage. We had a wonderful experience with them. They saw the potential in our unconventional front yard and came up with beautiful plan for its improvement. They did an excellent job of troubleshooting problems before providing a quote. Their prices were competitive and they charged us exactly as they said they would in the contract (to the penny). They showed up when they said they would. They stayed until the work was done. They were respectful of an old growth tree (a very large oak) and adjusted the path to keep its roots intact and allow it more space to grow. They were also pleasant to work with when we had different opinions about the curve of the front walk. They were respectful of our ideas and they were willing to make changes that both met our expectations and conformed to their own standards for masonry. I get compliments on their changes to my front yard every time I am outside doing work. I would gladly hire them again, and I intend to when we address our driveway and retaining walls in a couple of years.”

“I reached out on a whim to Bill to design and install the lighting for my wedding last summer - I wanted temporary lights and he was an expert in permanent, he was excited about the challenge and said that the materials were the same, just a slightly different strategy. I was 100% unprepared for how awesome, professional, cautious, thoughtful and reliable Bill would be about our project, which started as a temporary installation as I said and turned into permanent installations all over my parents farm because they loved the lighting so much. Bill came up and did several site visits to our home in NH, he listened to my vision for how the lighting would flow at our outdoor wedding on our property, he made his own recommendations as well, which were creative and fun. He showed me sample fixtures and sent through a budget and got to work. For the installation he came several days in advance of the wedding with a small crew to start putting the lights in place - he wanted to test everything before the day before in case anything was wrong. Each day the property came to life in a way that was unexpected. We'd never had outdoor lighting before and having it wash across the barn, the forest, the bread oven, the gardens - it was all incredible. The event went off beautifully and Bill took all my crazy phone calls. After the main event my parents decided to make a lot of the lighting permanent and they have enjoyed it ever since. Bill made sure all the wires and such were buried and the property was clean and safe even when they were temporary and did a totally pro installation when they were made permanent. He has taken countless calls from my dad about replacing a bulb or adjusting a light - he is just the nicest person to deal with. He never makes anyone feel uninformed even though many are when it comes to outdoor lighting - I certainly was - and he became like a member of our family for the weeks surrounding the biggest day of my life!”

“Working with Village Stonesmith Gardens & Masonry was an extremely positive experience from start to finish. Patrick and his crew worked meticulously to create a beautiful stone wall that perfectly complements our house. More than a functional retaining wall it is a work of art that we will appreciate for many years to come. -Nancy O.”

“We hired Commonwealth Landscape Lighting to nightscape our backyard, they were very professional, fast and did a fabulous job! Nothing but great things to say about these guys! We have an inground pool that they lit up with gorgeous copper lights (raised) and they used these lantern type lights to light surrounding trees, it came out wonderful! We get compliments from everyone that comes to visit!!”

“We hired CParks to install stone retaining walls in the front or our house and stone walls and patio in the rear of our house. We were so happy with the way it all turned out. Because of the large of amounts of ledge in our yard it was no easy project. They were able to incorporate the existing ledge into the beautiful stone walls and even worked a fire pit into the design. It transformed our unusable yard into a great place to hang out with friends and family. We couldn't be happier!”
