“Jim Roberts was our contact with Black Diamond for our project which consisted of (1)replacing a poured concrete front walkway that had two steps with pavers on an incline with no steps (this avoids people tripping on the steps at night) ; (2) creating a parking space next to the driveway with pavers; and (3) creating extra patio space using pavers around the back yard pool out of a grass area. Jim provided a nice presentation and competitive estimate and provided valuable creative input that steered us towards good choices of pavers and a great outcome. I was very nervous about the second part of the project (see above) because virtually all of our house utilities (gas, electric, telephone, cable, water line and drain line) all were directly through the area to be paved. Also, two massive tree root systems running through the area had to be hand removed due to being directly over the utilities. Jim and Black Diamond served up a truly outstanding crew that pulled it off without cutting any of the utility lines. Jim had good follow through and represented his company professionally and he would be our first call should we need paver services again. In summary, this was one of our best ever contracting outcomes and give due credit to Jim for that result. Chuck Clark”

“I had used Sean and his team to do a full renovation of my backyard. I really enjoyed working with Sean and appreciated his business model vs other contractors. Sean will only work on 1 job at a time and will not start another job until the present job is completed. This ensures that the contractor is not running around to multiple jobs which may delay your job. Along with this, his team is very experienced in their crafts. He used our preferences to create a incredible design that met everything we were trying to describe. The entire project took three weeks and during that time Ramon was in daily contact with us checking in for any concerns or ideas. His team was fantastic, the job site was cleaned up every night, and the attention to detail was superb. The end result was far better than we imagined it could be and we continue to receive many compliments on how beautiful our water wise yard turned out.
