A small private practise specialising in creating unique, beautiful gardens throughout the UK and Malta. I have been gardening ever since I can remember. Perhaps I have green blood – both my father and grandfather were landscapers. My passion is to create beautiful gardens that are also accessible, inspirational and functional – or maybe just fun – for those who enjoy them. This can be a palatial landscape or a domestic garden; the outside space should complement the building it surrounds and the people who inhabit that space. I am a hands on gardener who enjoys the full process – seeing a landscape design planted out and maturing over time is a great privilege. I studied Horticulture at Kingston Maurward College followed by Garden Design at Leeds Metropolitan University. I have worked throughout Europe, with clients including Queen Magrette of Denmark and most recently the President and Prime Minister of Malta. I have a base in Malta and am always happy to travel internationally for projects; as a garden designer in Yorkshire, the contrast with the North African climate presents an interesting challenge. Back in the UK I have worked for the world renowned celebrity chef Raymond Blanc at Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons in Oxfordshire and as a garden designer in Yorkshire have achieved award winning show gardens at the Harrogate Spring Flower Shows. My team is handpicked for their specialist expertise in horticultural, landscaping and 3D visualisation and I use a combination of their skills to deliver the best results on each project. I can also offer horticultural consultation services for large projects, with overview and phasing recommendations. I like to build strong relationships with my clients and most of my work comes through word of mouth recommendations. I am always available for site visits, to chat through your aspirations and discuss how we can bring these to a reality.
