I met Craig at the Decorex trade show in London in 2010 and loved his unusual, high quality and unique lighting designs. I hired him to amend some of his designs to better fit into an interior I was designing and also to create some completely bespoke pieces for the stairwell, which was an awkward space. Dealing with Craig is a pleasure. He is always charming and genuine, professional and with great design understanding and instincts. My client and I were thrilled with the results and the architect was impressed enough to keep calling me for Craigs's contact details to include his lights on their projects since. Innovative and original designs. We have used a number of Craig Jenkins' lights on our projects - specifically the Birch Natural Log pendant (C4), Bronze Leaf wall light (W6), what we called the 'cow bell' wall lights (W2-11 & W3-11), and Large Brass Tube Lantern (C10), many of which were custom sized for us. Craig also developed our own design for a fur covered light box pendant with bronze trim and diffuser. We used these lights variously in two French Ski Chalet projects and a Grade II Listed Barn conversion in the UK, where the bronze patina and natural textures, coupled with simple modern lines have resonated with our rough-luxe interiors. www.jessicabrookdesign.com
