DESIGN BY LIGHT

We found designbylight to be very professional at providing our smart home company with an additional service of lighting design.. they can provide all the design elements required to give your customer the wow factor.

Ben (design by light) provided the lighting design for our new home two years ago. We moved to a three bedroom first floor apartment in a converted building, part of an original psychiatric hospital (asylum) now a grade 2 listed building. Ceilings are high and the space very open plan. We had no idea what to do and researched lighting designers. We chose Ben because of the interest he showed form the start. With us he put together a design which we really liked and given his vast knowledge and experience was way beyond what we could have conceived alone. Drawings and samples were provided. Ben works with a close team who moved in while we moved out to complete the work. We were thrilled with he result and very impressed by how well the team worked together but also that when we returned our house was spotless! Any queries or small work that needed doing eg. adjusting the height of an over the table lamp, replacing bulbs beyond our reach Ben has attended to. After sales service has been excellent.

Design by Light worked with me on a charity project for a sensory garden for disabled children. They added lighting and sound in an imaginative way which has really enhanced the sensory experience of the garden and encourages the children to venture outside after dark in the winter months.

I can’t say enough great things about working with these guys. They even came back at night to observe the lighting and atmosphere under night condition. They were very helpful and professional in making my perfect LED lighting layout. I would not hesitate in using them for any future projects!

Benajmin spent his two hour visit talking with me, trying to figure out how to match the apartment's lighting to my taste and the way I live. He also spent a good amount of time in each room and helped me with a lighting scheme. After that, he and his crew completed their work in a timely fashion, they were very polite and knowledgable. I highly recommend him for any of your electrical or lighting needs.
