Lighting Design Professionals in Hitchin, Hertfordshire

“Our practice has worked with Lighting By Plum on multiple projects over the last few years and we have always found them an invaluable asset to the design process. They bring an expertise and vision to lighting that has enhanced all the projects we have worked with them on. They are friendly, cooperative and explain their design choices clearly. We have worked with them on full collaborative projects and one off project consultations; they offer a great service.”

“Working with Alicja has honestly been one of the best decisions we've made for our home. From the very beginning, she took so much time to understand how we actually live, what we liked (even when I wasn't entirely sure myself!), and what our budget was. She never tried to push us towards expensive options for the sake of it and was always happy to adapt the designs when something wasn't quite right or was stretching our budget. What impressed me the most was how patient and thorough she was. I asked countless questions throughout the process, and she always took the time to explain everything without ever making me feel silly. As first-time homeowners taking on a whole-house project, that reassurance meant a lot. Her communication has been outstanding from start to finish. She kept us updated throughout the project, was incredibly flexible around our schedules, and genuinely cared about getting the design right rather than rushing to the finish line. The designs she created feel thoughtful, practical and beautiful. They're not just Pinterest-worthy, they're tailored to us and the way we use our home. She even considered things I never would have thought about myself, and thanks to her shopping lists, ordering everything has been so straightforward. We've now received most of the furniture and décor, and seeing everything arrive is incredibly exciting. I genuinely can't wait to see it all come together. If you're looking for someone who is talented, approachable, patient and truly invested in creating a home that reflects you, I couldn't recommend Alicja highly enough. Thank you for helping us create a home we can't wait to enjoy for years to come.”

“Sai is brilliant. She helped us with small tweaks to make our living room feel more homely, and also with a much bigger project — a garage conversion to extend our kitchen. Sai’s plans were fantastic and really helped bring the kitchen to life for us, the builders, and the various tradespeople involved, which made the whole process run very smoothly. She has a great eye for design and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.”
